I've been trying to sell this and a g1 superion set TOGETHER for 450AUD and still no bites. Trying to get rid of Rex too.

 

Since this got bumped, I guess I'll add something. I bought this set brand new off eBay a couple months ago. I just combined the team last week, I really don't understand the hate this set gets. The only complaint I have is the head, why it didn't come with a faceplate and red visor. I didn't get the wings kit with mine, but I don't think I need it. I did some simple mods to the head and I think I can live with the chest. After a lot of hesitation about getting him, I'm very glad I did.

I would recommend the upgrade kits on shapeways, if you aren't afraid of a little paint. They add a little height to his legs and fill out his thighs, while allowing a closer stance - no longer just the A stance. Also, they help fill out his torso by giving him an actual waist peace. It looks really good if you can combine it with the Wings of Uranos set.

 

I still adore this set. The individual bots are very underestimated.

Thinking about tossing the cw heads on them. Has anyone done that?

 

Thinking about it, yes. Haven't done it, though, since it doesn't look like a simple head swap. The ball peg on Harrier is smaller than the socket on Quickslinger, for example.

 

Yes, it's a beautiful set indeed! Although considering it'll probably be staying in combined mode for the foreseeable future, replacing the bot heads isn't very high on my priority list.

 

I did put CW Superionhead on the combined form. It's a tad small, but he wasn't supposed to be too smart anyway, right?

 

Sorry for a necro on this guy, but I recently got this set and I love it! I think it's so underrated, but I admit without some slip pads, replacement springs and the Wings/SXS set I'd not have liked it as much. The jet modes are friggin' awesome!

If anyone has any problems finding those Prime springs to swap out, CW Silverbolt's hip springs also work, and he's a hell of a lot easier to get ahold of. I had a spare 'Bolt from a shelf dive tragedy, and now thanks to his noble sacrifice Uranos stands like a champ.

It's really easy to get this set, sometimes with upgrades, on the cheap now secondhand. If you can, I really think he's worth it.

 

Got a full set with the Wings of Uranos and Reprolabels for $250 shipped!...PM me. maybe willing to wiggle a little...

 

Sorry to revive a dead thread, but I remember there being replacement Lightpiping/Cockpit pieces in blue/red, is there anywhere i can buy some of these?

 

Best I can remember they were made by another board member here as the figures were coming out. I would imagine that your best bet now would be if someone had a set they wanted to get rid of.

The replacements sets were made by my good friend Megatron31, but ever since he had his child he has had to devote all his free time to him, he longer makes them and probably will not be able to for a couple of years.

 

As much as I love this set, space is now a major issue. I find myself making the hard decision of having to let this set go

Hate to ask here, but can anyone direct me to a seller or a thread on the forums for the OS KO Uranus combiner? I'd certainly appreciate it.

 

What's the deal with the guns? I got a used one off eBay with all the upgrades (wings, swx) for like 150 bucks. But the big combiner guns just have little pegs. I can clipn them to the forearm but can't have the combiner grip.them.like real guns.

Is it a different transformation in missing or a part I don't have

 

You're missing a part. There should be a piece that fits onto the peg of the gun with pegs on the sides that mate with holes in Uranos' hands.

 

I just picked a set up and I like him, but he's up against the Warbotron combiners and he's a tad short. Are there any height extensions or anything floating around on like Shapeways?
