    More or less :D
One important thing is that, he wasn't chosen by the matrix, just found it, and he is not an Autobot or Decepticon, he "ruled" before either side become dominant.
If you watch pictures of him he never has a badge

Hey Just curious as the photo isn't 100% clear on what is broken...what exactly is broken? Is it like a connection for the arms or something? Or is is the windshield?

    Just curious? :)

Anyone read the latest issue of the TFCC magazine? The story tells the origin of the timelines Nova Prime toy. He used to be someone else... you'll never guess who and how he got transformed.

He's Shattered Glass Optimus Prime reformatted with the power of a good fragment of Unicron to become a champion of order!

Cracked hinges on the side windows. Unfortunately that is a very common flaw and can be easy to miss if you don't look hard enough or never transform him.

Besides the rumor of the upcoming Combiner Wars Leozack, episode 140 of the TransMissions Podcast was fun because it had Josh Burcham, colorist for IDW comics mentioning he owns Hyper Novae and was looking at getting the MMC one too.

Josh is of course the man who colored this:

He was a a pretty upstanding guy for the most part, just an extremist in the political sense who didn't care about anything but cybertronians and like Megatron was willing to do anything for his people, even exterminate other forms of life for their end goals.

And then yeah, went through a portal, his extreme views got extreme-er and his mind went all wonky and when he came back he was all man lets just kill this universe its lame and everything would be so great if it was all living undeath or whatevs.

I forget the rest, he ended up back in the deadverse permanently somehow after dying, like he's kind of immortal but also a slave to the deadverse. In a more recent comic optimus had to fight him there and managed to beat him.

Then Shockwave summoned him back to cybertron again but I didn't read most of those issues cause they just kinda sucked.

TFSource just had one of these come in stock MIB. I got an email alert for it. Price was listed at $220, so you can still find these occasionally for a fairly decent price, just takes some time. Set price watches on sites that offer that option, they do sometimes get them back in stock.

Box was a little banged up but the figure was Mint as stated. Transformed, added the armor, then time for the fun to begin...

Got to enjoy the pain of the stickers and golden wing pieces :)  Thanks to Vangelis for the great tutorial video!

Right leg upper thigh swivel was a bit loose, so Pledged that up and it's all good now.

    edit:

Looks like Novae and Nemesis fit well together in a basketball display case :)

That plexi case is around 10" square and his wings are almost fully extended across the diagonal, which should be roughly 14", if that helps get you a quick rough estimate. I'd estimate 15" max width.

It is by no means the best pic in the world however I stretched out the wings as far as they will go and the max wingspan is 15 5/8in. I hope that helps.

Man, seems like I may have to consider my Hyper Novae a lost cause.

Early on when I first got him the double hinge that the right section of the forward cap is attached to became stripped. I've glued it several times but the glue comes right undone the second I try to transform him. Basically my choice is either glue it again and never ever transform him, or consider it a lost cause and invest in a new figure.

Guess my choices are holding out for Fanatic Lord (who looks great, was thinking of getting the white CW Optimus anyway as a stand in for the character, possibly getting him a team of white figures to combine with) or save up to get Prominion to get a unique mold for the character. Not really sure which to go with.

One thing is for certain, though. I will never buy another battle tanker. Cost me a lot of money to get this figure and it fell right apart.

Have you tried to contact make toys directly since it sounds like it's way too late to ask your retailer for replacement parts.. It has been out for a while now but you may get lucky .. They usually just make you pay shipping cost and sometimes not even that

image.jpeg Umm,can anyone help me out by telling me how to get the back wheels to align properly, the back wheel especially likes to stay up in the air and not touch the ground, which bugs me because of my slight OCD and makes me tilt a bit. Thanks:)

They don't, its a design flaw. Nemesis and Gento, his mold re-uses, have the exact same problem. You can kind of adjust the set before them to lower the overall truck down and get them closer but then the underside of the bot just ends up scraping the ground.

As someone who also suffers form ocd it drives me nuts too so I try real hard to ignore it when they're in alt mode.

    Not sure about design flaw.

Seems as long as everything is tabbed into the proper place including the wheels themselves, it sits pretty flush. Like most MT items, everything needs to be tabbed JUST right for it to work out right. 20161219_174753.jpg 20161219_174848.jpg

    Sorry, cell phone photos.

Hooooowwwwww I've transformed him sooo many times and the wheels never ever want to sit like that without either lowering the truck too much or banging in to each other...

OK, so on each of the legs are the small divots around the wheel arches here:

    IMG_6175_LI.jpg

And then on the back of each of the wheel plates there are small nubs or pegs. These pegs need to go into the small divots next to each wheel arch. They need to go right into those divots and then as I said, the legs need to be all tabbed together right as well.

    IMG_6176_LI (2).jpg

Sorry for the out of focus images, I am no expert with a camera at all. lol.

Now even when they are in place, there really is not a lot of clearance for the underside of the legs and the knees will hit on an uneven surface but if you have everything in place you can push the wheels on a table cloth of something like that and all the wheels will roll. I think what a lot of people miss is that the wheels closest to the cab do need to be rotated quite a bit around to get the peg to fit into the divot. If this front wheel is not rotated full enough then it won't sit right.

Hope this helps a little. I have done this with all the versions of this mold and been able to get them all to sit flush so................ ;)
