How about a G1 comic continuing the Sunbow cartoon after Season 4?

The last words of the whole series is Lord Zarak saying "we shall see, Galvatron, we shall see..." and then nothing.  

That haunts me to this day. I am tired of G1 alternate continuities. I want a continued story from THE G1 continuity, the original Transformers cartoon.

 

These are my exact same feelings as well.

 

Next issue: What If... Rumble was red?

Botcon has been doing that. But they call it "Wings of Honor" where some things from the different from the cartoon while some other things stay the same.

 

How about a TF Prime one where Smokescreen does become Prime?

Sounds interesting, hope it turns out better than Idw's other attempt of continuing a G1 piece of fiction with regeneration1.

I wonder what path this optimus will go down? I hope they don't go down the living long enough to become the villain type storyline as that would be a bit cliche of 'what if' stories and kinda douchey on Idws part.

 

Too bad they couldn't use the classic Transformers logo.

 

This should be an interesting read, because this was the moment that changed Transformers for a lot fans. Now we get to see what it would've been like if it didn't happen.

 

Better idea. What if Prime had died aboard the Ark before its' crew awoke in 1984, ala the ending of The Agenda Part III?

I would love that.

The writers claimed the reason the series was called "Prime" was the series was about what it meant to be a Prime, but nothing really happened to demonstrate that. Smokescreen becoming Prime would have done more to do something with that. And that would have made such a dramatic change to the series. I think that would be a great read.

If we have a think about it unless captured Megatron would still return as Galvertron and as Optimus is injured the Autobots will still have to flee Galvertrons second way of Decepticons onto the shuttles. Given how Optimus Prime has had much more experience with leadership and the matrix hopefully he will realise that Galvertron on junk is not the darkest hour and hopefully the insight to ask a few why questions around the new con army and what was behind them.

 

The interview says that Galvatron won't be in this.

 

Megatron's gun is miscoloured on the cover. I won't lie... it bugs me.

 

The more I think about this, the more excited I am for this. This will be in a way, the way we were expecting the movie to go.
