I'm tired of Vangelus talking smack about the triggerbots. I love them cause they were great in the old Marvel comics that focused on them! It took just a single issue to make me like them, and they're finally getting the toys I've always wanted! I just need a Backstreet..... Also I like Runamuck and Runabout to be smaller since I usually prefer my toys to be generally toy scale in terms of the originals. It's why I prefer legends warpath to deluxe warpath, because warpath should be a tiny tank minibot.
welcome to the whovian fold Vangelus. I love Capaldi as a Doctor. I detest Clara and Danny. they shackle the lot to modern day london. you have a machine that can take you anywhere in history, anywhere in space, anywhere in space's history. go friggin have an adventure somewhere beside modern day friggin england! If you enjoy someone challenging the Doctor, watch the season with Donna Noble. best companion ever.
1. The mortal combat x figures have been shelf warming at my local TRU for weeks 2. The black series snow trooper officer is a TRU exclusive that is packed in a case of 6 of itself.
Thanks for answering my listener question, Vangelus; ok, was kinda hoping one of my repaints might've got a mention, but oh well.. doh!
That's... gourmet as all hell. Yeah, I'm sold. I'd eat the 35$ piece of steak on top. Put the rest in a doggie bag.
To Vangelus asking about the audience for those movie statues. The motivation is appreciation for the complexities of the live-action character designs and the belief that the toys are unable to capture that. So it's really the idea of having a well-done representation of a very detailed design. Even if it doesn't transform.
Not a big deal, but Tracks had two big episodes. Both had Raoul in them, so they usually blur together in your memory. One episode had the Decepticons using car thieves to help them build a drone army. Raoul steals Tracks, but ends up befriending him in a weird buddy story. The next story to highlight Tracks involves a dance club. Raoul is involved, because he's a breakdancer. Club ends up being a front for Decepticon plot.
On the Prime-1 stuff, I'd be down for it if they weren't so expensive. I love the movie designs for the most part and I highly doubt they will get Masterpiece love, or highly detailed versions from Takara/Hasbro for some time, if ever. So it's nice that there is someone covering that side of the fandom, just a shame they are so highly priced. I really want the busts they do but those are about twice as expensive as they need to be.
Your situation with Who is exactly the same as my dad. He started watching at season 8 with me, loving Peter Capaldi's acting, and now just enjoying it from a fresh pair of eyes. He's been a pretty big fan of season 9 too. It's helping me to enjoy it a lot more now.
