I am absolutally blown away by how great this figure is. This by far, is the best representation of Bumblebee with articulation from the Dark of the Moon movie PERIOD! It's not without it's faults, but it is simply stunning. My biggest gripes are that it requires 3 little button batteries that it does not come with. They're easy to find BUT if you buy them from a place like CVS or Walgreens, you're gonna be paying like 5-6 bucks for like one battery. You can find them much cheaper on places like amazon though. The other thing i don't really like or understand really, is the thumb. It articulates forward and back, but it doesn't rotate at the base. Now the other fingers also don't rotate at the base but the thumb seems like it should. Giving it a much more naturally look. As it is, it sticks straight out from the hand and unless you're doing a clutching pose or fist, it looks weird. I don't know why they couldn't have put some sort of ball socket there for the thumb, especially considering the price and the fact that there are parts on this thing that are articulated that i'm still randomly discovering. So much on this guy is hinged that i don't see why they couldn't have done something with the thumb. But those are really my only two gripes. Beyond that...i'm in LOVE!! If their Megatron and Optimus turn out like this guy, i am just going to want them to keep making more and more! Sadly, from my understanding from the rep that i'm dealing with, they only have the license for Dark of the Moon. So that limits some of the characters i would love to see done. But the main guys are going to be fun to collect! :)

I like the AOE Bumblebee better so I'll get that one, when they get the license for it.

If you don't mind me asking, which country are you in and where did you order from?

I'm trying to figure out if it's time to begin anxiously watching the mail yet. :D

I told myself I'd only get Prime or Starscream, but the more I see this, the more I want it...

Mine was delivered today. Wasn't supposed to be here until Friday!
It's lighter than l expected, but man is this thing HUGE!

It's everything that l wanted it to be, though a little complex figuring out the pose that l think looks best. Soooo awesome!
Also, forget about having it stand fully upright in a Detolf.

If l were to make a Prime1-ish base for it, at 1st glance many won't be able to tell the difference. I can hardly wait for the others. I really hope 3A makes Ironhide and Shockwave.

The only negative was that my Bee came with a piece that broke off. Or rather...the glue gave out on a small piece. Nothing that superglue won't fix. Even my girlfriend is awestruck.

Of all my figures...this is my 2nd favorite after my HOTTOYS T-800.
    Bumblebee rivals my HotToys PowerLoader

Anybody else in this thread get a tracking number yet? I haven't. Not sure if I should be concerned.

just got this guy, and there were a couple dislocated yellow pieces loose in the box - turns out they belong to the calf area, so i had to glue them back. everything seems legit, but my only problem is that i can't remove the right forearm to substitute with the cannon, even when i pressed the button down. anyone else experiencing this?

Got mine yesterday from Bamba. The exclusive Pillar is very nice. I'm glad i went with the exclusive version. This is easily my favourite piece in my collection. The detail is just unreal. I'll fiddle with him more this weekend but for those who are wondering, he fits just fine standing almost totally upright in a detolf.

I finally got it off using a needle nose plyers to squeeze/press the button. Not a great solution, but it worked.

yea I finally got it off after loads of turning the joint and wiggling the forearm. seems like there's a slot that aligns the mushroom peg and keeps it in place while the swivel attached to the forearm is what provides the actual forearm swivel, but the slot in the hole isn't cut deep enough, so the forearm rotates around the mushroom connector freely instead of the forearm swivel, if that makes sense. either way, switching out forearms is a less than enjoyable experience for me.

anyone else with this groove issue I just tried to describe?

Been messing around with this guy every day this entire week. He just looks way too awesome whenever I glance over at him on display. Can't decide on a pose either!
Hats off to 3A for really pulling a figure like this off. Super excited for the rest of the line. :clap

Nothing really new to offer this thread, other than to say I just received mine and he's incredible. Just utterly gobsmacked at how great he looks!
    Couldn't be happier, really.
Now, here's REALLY hoping they continue with these things.
Btw, I also had a couple of parts that popped off, but were easily plugged back in. Gluing would be best, but they seemed to stay in ok. One little piece of kibble on his calf and his left shoulder armour bit. Again, easily reattached.
Kick-ass work on this, 3A!! Can't wait to see the other 3!

I had two small pieces broken off. One is off the pilar. I haven't bothered to fix it. I really don't care much about the pilar.

The second looks like it ought to be off Bee's body, but I've never managed to find a place missing a part. (and really if I can't tell something came off then it's not much to complain about)

Ha ha, yeah, there's just so much minute detail and kibble all over the piece, it is kinda difficult to suss out. One MUST appreciate the work that goes into these things. No easy task!
Again, I'm just giddy at how great he looks. I've bought many impressive figures (Hot Toys, etc.), but I don't think I've ever been more wowed by a figure. About the only thing that's "gripe-worthy" is the lack of rotation for his thumb (as has been mentioned before), but no biggie. Certainly still looks killer and doesn't take away from the aesthetic. Anyway, hope you figure out where the bits go. Even if it doesn't matter or affect the appearance, I know that would still bug the hell outta me! lol
