In Disney Infinity 3.0, is there a way to get the older 1.0 and 2.0 characters to use the same combat system the Jedi characters use?
Ant-man, Vision and black panther are coming. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MA5qamlfB14 battlegrounds is smash with power stone. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N4t28-V7r5M
Is the "my space" portion, where you build your own house, any more stable than in 2.0? We had issues where my daughter placed waaaaaay too many of the mini's into the house, and it caused graphical glitching in the game. They said the only fix was to create a whole new account, as that meta data is tied to the Disney ID. I don't want to sink money into it again, if that's still busted. Nothing like loading a race and having sections of the track missing, or mountains floating in air...
I wouldn't be surprised if weak so get a female character like, captian marvel, wasp or Scarlet witch
Guys, I'm clueless with regards to this franchise...if I want to play Star Wars Episodes IV-VI...do I buy the starter pack? And do I need to buy any figures?
You don't need the starter pack if you already have the base from either DI 1.0 or 2.0. All yo need to do is by the digital copy of Disney Infinity 3.0 toy box from your consoles digital store for only $30 as well as you have to get the Rise of the Empire play set. Warning, for most consoles the bases can be used between each other except Xbox one, the base has to be for that console. Hope this helps
I'm so stoked about the Marvel Battlegrounds. Also, anyone else playing the Speedway? I hate race-car games, but i LOVE this game
Hi guys, I need help. I'm trying to figure out what to put on my Christmas list. I only intend to put 3 items on the list, but I don't know what to do for my 3rd item. My mom says to put a new Star Wars video game on there. But the only thing I can think of is the Disney's Infinity game. I have no idea what Disney's Infinity is. So can anyone tell me what it is and is it worth getting? PS, Also does the Boba Fett Infinity figure only work with the PlayStation or Xbox?
Its hard to say whether its worth getting. I definitely enjoyed the first one, stuck with the second one begrudgingly and while 3.0 Star Wars is better, I don't know how much of that is merely the theme. But I can definitely explain how it works so lets get to that. You get the Starter pack, you'd want 3.0 the one covered in Star Wars imagery. You get Anakin and Ashoka in that as well as the base and game. The base has room for two figures and a hexagon shaped part. The hexagon part are for tokens that identify you as owning a particular level or power disc. The Clone Wars level token comes with the starter pack while the Original Trilogy two pack with Luke and Leia gets you the IV-VI levels. Additional figures just get you the character depicted. The other half of the game is the toy box, a sand box with alright building controls where the segregation of the franchises at the hand of The Mouse go and Hulkbuster can pummel Let it Go out of Elsa's head to your hearts content (assuming you own said figures) where the other hexagon stuff comes into play. They come in 4 packs which get you vehicles, costumes and textures depending on the pack in question. Those are really overpriced in my opinion, even for a Toys to life game. They're called power discs I'm not so good describing gameplay so just look on Youtube at the lets play of your choice. Fighting isn't that complicated, most non-boss enemies can be defeated by mashing triangle, but there is a skill tree of a few combos and abilities to make things easier/variation. If you die in a level you need a new figure to continue. The other figures will be usable again eventually (5-30min?) and sometimes it will allow you to respawn at the nearest checkpoint that it anywhere from the exact spot you died or the start of the level. Boba Fett isn't exclusive to any particular console, but until sometime in December he's only available in a Playstation exclusive bundle that comes with Boba, Leia and Luke on top of the regular starter pack stuff or bundled with a PS4 and the starter pack.
Someone made a He-man toybox! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=20puibXTKMM Great now where is our cats lair from thundercats, firehouse from ghostbusters, pit from gijoe, cybertron from transformers, macross island from robotech, mask boulder hill, and castle of lions from voltron? Also we need snake mountain now. Man I wish I could make these stages like this. I would make all of those.
I really didn't like Disney Infinity 2.0 but I've found 3.0 to be a big step up. Starter packs are always a good pick if you're, you know, starting out. I'd suggest just grabbing one of the Star Wars ones and see if you like the game first before doing further research. If you've got a PC you can download a free demo. Figures and bases work across almost all systems. The Xbox One base is different I believe. If you wait you can find crazy deals for the 1.0 and 2.0 figures, which are compatible with all versions of the game.

Gonna start getting into this for the Marvel series. Will the battlegrounds playset have online play against others?
I love how Unkarr Plutt returns out of nowhere (a leftover from an earlier draft) midway through the TFA pack and thinks he's the boss. He ain't shit.
