Those turtles look creepy now. Hard to believe that style of animation is what I grew up with. It's like antique dolls. For their time they look perfectly fine, but today they're usually considered super creepy.

I hate to be That Guy, but it's been two podcasts. Stripes is an established character (established in this case meaning Ravage with Steeljaw's guns once came with an encore Blaster.) He's a weird choice, and parts of him look a bit off, but they didn't just make him up.

That Perceptor you guys were talking about is actually WFC/FOC Perceptor, so it's an established look for him too

They said those little Titan Masters were at a $5 price point. I wonder if maybe later on we will get guys like Nightbeat and the other guys as Deluxe figures, but they will remold the faces to be cartoon accurate instead of toy accurate? Then you can get both version of Nightbeat, and make either version of him, toy accurate or cartoon accurate.

It's a shame about the 3P Dinoking, getting the complete set for $800+ is a cost that's pretty tough to wrap your head around, and is easily priced out of reach for most people. Explosive springs don't help, either.

Is that with or without the completely unnecessary Pretender shells?

It's a guesstimate including the shells. Without them, if the leg guys follow the current pricing scheme, he'll be $380 USD total.

That's with the shells, which is why I find it disappointing because they are very necessary if you want it to be a true Dinoking set and not just another alternate Monstructor. The shells were a part of their character and the only thing that even made them actual dinosaurs.

So yeah, $800+ is a scary big number, and I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels that way.

Yeah, but I'd guess you don't need to buy them all now. Buy one shell every few months.

    Oh, that's a great deal for 3P, I don't know what he's complaining about.

Glad you guys talked about the SND kits. I'm in for both versions of Nova, so hopefully the Dead Universe version happens (its hard to call it Nemesis Prime when there's also a regular Black Convoy gariation happening).

Also, the God Ginrai version is a slight retool of the Nova upgrade, so I think it exists nore to have a version of both upgrades in all three colors.

Figuarts Turtles? C'mon give us Figuarts Ant-Man first at least. That suit totally screams Tokusatsu.

I feel like Nightbeat is so obscure, you should be grateful to even get a head! :lol  Cause seriously... when does Hasbro fulfill reasonable requests like yours? I mean, when they could paint a car red and call it "Optimus" instead! :D

How many figures called Nightbeat have we gotten in the last decade? like 4 (movie, club, Generations, this)? It's not that obscure. They just change the face plate and release it with a generic car mold painted yellow and blue. Easy.

My theory is the Galvatron/us (plus other 3P versions) thing is a bunch of crazy plans he cooked up to live on if something happened to him.
