They have shown proto-types for it, but that is as far as it has gotten to this point.

Anyone else have the problem of his leg ratchets getting loose over time? Mine wants to bend over backwards constantly. Anyone known fixes for this guy, or does anyone have any suggestions?

This guy fits in no where with my collection, and even with the high price it can fetch I still can't get rid of it. Such a fantastic and unique figure.

If this figure has a loose shoulder, is there a way to tighten that up?

I know of a place where I can get this for a decent price, and I'm definitely considering it, but I am worried about a few things:
    1) Screws being too tight- I'm guessing It'd be a good idea to loosen all the screws immediately out of the box.
    2) Balance issues- I've seen him topple over in several reviews, so I'm guessing it just takes some tweaking to get it right. I can live with that.

Is he really worth it? I'm aware of MMC's upcoming Nova Prime, but really I'd be fine with either one- it doesn't really matter to me.

This figure is still one of my favorite pieces in my collection. As for your concerns I've never had an issue with either. For balance as long as you use the heels spurs and firmly plant the feet on whatever surface your on you'll be fine.

^ What that guy said. MMC's looks cool, but he doesn't really look like the design from the comics. Even Maketoys' figure doesn't, but there's definitely looks closest. You won't be disappointed.

If you can get this for a decent price man get it! As others have stated it's a great figure that overcomes it's own issues. Personally, it's the best figure I've ever owned.

    Definitely recommend it.
...if you don't end up getting it for a "decent" price, let me know about it as I need another in my collection!

I wish I could find another set of the orange inserts. I lost one piece and it irks the hell out of me.

I was bent on getting this figure until MMC announced Seraph Prominon which should be a lot more posable and actually has more detail like movable fingers. When you put the MT Nova Prime figures into their armored up mode, they are kind of 'set and forget'. They look very nice, but there's a distinct value curve and most of the eBay ones are way overpriced for what you actually get.

The only screw that really needs to be loosened is one in the backpack which will allow easier attachment to the figure's back.

I sold mine some time ago. It was a great display piece but I wished it were bigger.

I've done research on Nova Prime and I'm having a rather tough time seeing him as a leader because of his mentality, which was: Transformers are the ultimate lifeform and their abilities should be shared with lesser lifeforms. That's not a bad mentality, it's actually quite kind- but at the same time I'm not so sure that makes him a leader- and from what I understand, the only way to gain the title of "Prime" is to become an Autobot leader. I haven't read his full story, but for the most part I understand he somehow ended up in a dark portal, encountered something called "The Darkness" (which is basically the negative equivalent of the Matrix- extremely powerful), it changed him into Nemesis Prime, and in the end Optimus killed him.

Is that right? Did I miss anything major?
