I hope for Underbite. Then Clampdown. Then Terrashock.

There are a few that I'll be getting. The rest, I'll wait and see what Takara offers up.

Anyone else look at Quillfire and see Blot?

Also, that little black and purple minicon reminds me of those little critters from the Critters horror franchise.

Your right, quillfire would make a pretty cool blot, if they made that, I'd put in with my animated figures, wouldn't be a bad thing for the collector's club to do

    I doubt it.

I hope so. I mean HE ATE A WHOLE CITY! I think he's deserving of a toy.

Maybe this coming year's RID waves will be Decepticon heavy...like this year's is Autobot heavy...figure-wise.

I just got into seeing the RID cartoon. Found a site that has all the english episodes. So in just getting to know the characters and seeing the kaleidoscope of decepticons I am happy to see Hasbro has released a few more "REGULAR" type versions of these characters.

I think hasbro has really "dumped the bed" wasting so much time and plastic on multiple play versions of the same characters. They could have released these 1st season like, thunder hoof, Fracture, clampdown and the porcupine this past year. I'm glad they finally have now.

The thing Hasbro has completely missed is the fun toy buying expereince of collecting different types of characters. During beast wars there were so many characters, there was something for everyone! Every line there after, it was so consistant; different characters for everyone. Armada, Energon, Cybertron...same deal some many characters to collect and enjoy. Then the classics lines came out, same thing. It wasn't until Animated that Hasbro created these crappy simple transformation figures with their spring loaded simple step transformations. But still hasbro gave us the kaleidoscope of characters in Animated. The movie lines were also plentiful! The best example being Reveng of the Fallen and it's sublines...so many awesome movie characters came out of this; 'hunt for the decepticons' being the best movie line to date.

So what is wrong with Hasbros transformers toys development team? why do they waste so much money and plastic on these odd crappy verisations of the same characters when they could be making characters that all kids (young and old) would want to buy after seeing the cartoon?

It is such a simple formula; create a great cartoon, make all the characters from the cartoon, everyone buys their favorite characters from the cartoon.

Such a simple business model. The cartoon is yout toy commercial. A wheel that didn't need re-inventing.

It's quite simple really, apparently hasbro's market research told them several things from prime, 1. Kids don't like bad guys (even thought they were always my favorite, and my friends' favorites when we were younger), 2. Prime was to dark and violent (my 10 year old neighbor has 3 halo, and 5 call of duty games), and 3. The prime toy line was waaay to complex for today's kids cause they don't like to stop and think in the middle of their active playtime (cough LEGO cough).

Having Decepticons neglected for too long was a shame with this line.

All Autobots save for Fixit and Strongarm are just a rehash of classic characters, but Cons are all brand new and very toy-tastic.

OMG, I may actually start getting these toys now. Specifically the cons, I may pass on quilfire and Megatronus, but Fracture and Thundahoof are a must
