Ok now that was actually a fun commercial.

I liked it. almost made me sort of think those deployers looked cool.

Better because they don't have springy crap that makes them pop out of alt form; worse because the plastic quality/weight feels flimsy/light as heck. The minicons feel very cheap and simple.

Plus, the minicons have ZERO articulation - they just stand there. You can put guns in their hands, but they can't even raise their arms! :(

I like that they transform nicely, so they're nice for kids especially. But overall, $5 feels like too much for these, and I'd wait for the inevitable relocation to a discount shop. Maybe if 5Below got them in for $3, I might buy some more... but for now, your money is better spent elsewhere (not surprising; this is the R.I.D. line).

I didn't buy a deployer because I was worried about plastic quality and the toys look thin as heck in the package. Fracture's biceps, for example, look like they could snap if you looked at them wrong! :lol

I hope they go back to the original style of minicon if they used the concept again in the future.

I bought two of the minicons for my son. He likes them.

They don't really transform. They just pop into place. The armor kits are a nice addition but the pieces will get lost in no time. The nice thing is that the pieces work with other legion class figures. I was able to snap the wings from a minicon on Blackjack.

$3.99 would be a perfect price. $4.99 isn't terrible since these figures do have screws and gears.
