Hey now I wasn't bad mouthing the custom! I'm just saying, in that hypothetical situation I created, fans would complain about it if it were an official product, let's be real here.

He said nothing wrong, and he makes a good point. As sweet as that custom is, if it were an official figure, it simply wouldn't get as much positive buzz. Hell, look at how many people bitched about Road Rage. His custom is great, but being realistic, if it weren't a custom not many would see it that way.

There's more variety in female body types than that. Think of the difference between Windblade and Strongarm. Or Black Arachnia and Strika.

To be perfectly fair though CW is just a Generations subline like FOC and Thrilling 30 were. Though I do agree with your overall point. Takara splitting it into Legends and Unite Warriors makes it so they're not bound to either one. It'd be nice if we had a separate Generations subline just like they did back when RTS, HFTD, and Generations all ran concurrently and it still worked aside from RTS being ridiculously hard to find (in my area anyway ;)  ). Seems like after starting with AOE though they're a bit hesitant about doing too many lines at once which is a bit of a shame.
This; it's not like fembots have to all be slender, organically shaped, and have busts. Even the "male" bots aren't that unified. Heck Prime Starscream was rather "feminine."

Is this Slipstream worth getting over the TFCC one? The former will be cheaper, but I've heard the mold is average at best

The club Slipstream is pretty hunched over and disappointing, IMO. This version is gorgeous.

The Windblade mould has its flaws (which are mostly focused on her heels and her little stability) but it's still much, much better than the Prime Starscream one which I always found pretty bland and awkward looking.

It's Starscream in Drag versus this one which is a female Seeker.

...That made the TFCC a must have for me. Though I still haven't dropped money on it.

But yea...between this Slipstream and the TFCC one, this is gonna be the one I choose to actually be Slipstream.

That tfcc works for me. The paint on it is awesome I don't have it hunched over. Very feminine mold. Taller than windblade too. Sits on my MP shelf

I love that mold. Tall slender and an awesome f16 alt mode. That windblade is ok at best. The alt mode sucks

Which is not necessarily a bad thing but the mould was still ill-suited for Slipstream.

I really didn't like it, it was a pretty simplistic figure to begin with.

Plus, it's definitely overpriced for the kind of figure it is.

Never heard people complain about the mold until now. I found TFCC Slipstream to be quite a gorgeous figure myself. The mold has a decent transformation and decent articulation (no 5mm pegholes on the hands though). Headsculpt was solid and the paint apps definately made it pop as Slipstream. Since Starscream had a slender build to begin with it also works as a fembot. II have yet to own the Windblade mold but I've heard many complaints about it. I dunno if I'd recommend TFCC Slipstream over Takara's new Slipstream but I'd darn well recommend TFCC Slipstream in general as it's a good figure.

Just killed my pre orders for Nightbird and Slipstream. Don't need Nightbird, and Slipstreams head sculpt and wings kinda bug the shizz outta me. BA is getting a home still.
