I'm not complaining about the prices on the new leaders because they finally exists for generations. The recent figures have also replaced all of the Henkei voyagers on my shelf that all cost at least $50 in 09. I pose the Armada version in my generations display and the G1 version with three mp seekers. It fills one shelf of detolf exactly so it avoids figures that are 1cm taller and it's a display I could never pull off with MP-05. I like some bang for your buck once in a while and I feel like I'm getting it here.

Same, for sure. The loss of a pet can be hard on people. I still miss my dog, and we put him down almost 15 years ago now. Hopefully Andy Roo will be comfortable until the time comes.

I totally hear you guys on the toys that don't really have much value. Luckily, every year my LCS does a sidewalk sale and lets me setup a table out front, which is where I sell all those movie toys that no one wants, because it turns out that kids who were 7 in 2007 are 14 and 15 now and starting to think about collecting and those toys they had as kids. The first movie was G1 for that generation, and they LOVE finding those figures again at decent prices. I tend to make $500 on that single day, usually selling things that are priced $15 or less. Now, not everyone has that option, but if you do, it's totally worth it. If not, selling to a LCS is always a good plan too, as is donating. I think it's gotta be a thing as collectors that since we are in this all the time, we constantly think of resale value, maybe even subconsciously. The general non collector public still donates a lot of toys to Goodwill, day cares, etc without even thinking that the old toys they have might really be worth something to someone. However, this conversation has made me start thinking of a way to mark the bags the figures I have are in, and if I take them to 3-4 sales over the course of time and they're still in my sales pile, then I should remove them and just donate them instead. That'll probably save my sanity a little bit, by allowing them the opportunity to sell and if they don't, they'll go to a good cause.

Hey guys, since we talked about it a bit on the show, I figured I should say something in here too.

Yesterday at around 2:30 in the afternoon Andy left this world peacefully surrounded by people who loved and cared for him. It was the hardest thing I've ever done to let him go.

I'm sorry to hear that - He's gone to the happy place where there are no unexpected Nerf guns.

My condolences go out to you. My dog is such a part of our family that I dread the day that I have to make the same decision.

I feel for you Aaron. Losing a pet is never easy. At least Andy Roo went peacefully with friends nearby. Praying for you.

Actually yes. Knowing people out there gave their pets just a little bit more love lightens my heart. As far as the day to day goes? I've found a couple of little habits I picked up due to life around Roo that aren't the same without his ears to end up in scritching position.
