I wholeheartedly agree. A Transformer is meant to transform. If it can't do that without breaking under normal conditions then it's a poorly made product.

The ones who got stress marks are probably handling it just as careful if not moreso than you are. This stress mark problem isn't widespread but it's definitely affected some samples as there's already been reported breakages by fans who are both careful and have been collecting transformers for years.

We are fortunate it isn't a widespread problem but it does suck for those who have seen it happen on their Magnus.

I have to agree with many of you concerning the build quality of tfs. I think MP-01 was the best masterpiece in terms of quality and some figures are better left untouched like MP-09. On the bright side Starsaber is looking durable because his designer M. Yuki had playability in mind.

I don't see any QC issues or poor design, it's a piece that is a little tight that will likely wear in as you mess with it. I mean it is easy not to be heavily pushing and pulling on parts that are tight. These are Adult Toys yes, I do agree they shouldn't break so easily, but I also see that it's not an issue to everyone. I myself have transformed Magnus probably 20 times, there's not one stress mark. I also don't try to transform these things like I'm still 5, or they're made of steel instead of plastic.

I'm not saying anyone is, and I can see how that part could break with enough stress, but it looks as though it would take a hard push to break it from my messing around looking at the part. And some may have already been stressed from being assembled, we all know those guys aren't concerned with care, just how many they can do in an hour.

And to use your comparison, all cars do have Lemons, as unfortunate as that reality is, it does happen.

Yep. Agree with all of this. And for the record, I don't think Magnus is a problematic figure; mine is just fine. I just want folks to acknowledge that these lemons exist. And that poor build quality, design and QC can increase the odds of getting saddled with one. I don't understand why people assume that toys only break when they're handled by incompetent man-children that doesn't know their own strength. That's not fair to the person with the broken figure and it gives TT/Hasbro a free pass on quality control that they may not deserve.

Man, I don't like him stickered up one bit, way too busy looking. A few lights here and there, but no to much else, especially the silver chrome waist. I like my MP Magnus toon accurate, even if he is a little plain looking, if I want to sticker something it will be my G1 Magnus after I complete him with his missing parts.

It's a shame you can't just get the raised Autobot logo by itself, because that set is ridiculously pointless, expensive and gaudy looking. Takes a fantastic figure and ruins it for me.

The only decals I liked from the Ocean Designs set were the forearms and thighs silver strips. And just for that its not worth the purchase price.

My Ultra Magnus's right leg sudddenly stopped ratcheting at the knee the other day. The joint still works and is quite stiff so holds position pretty well, but it's quite odd. He wasn't even holding a strenuous position on my shelf at the time. Need to open his thigh up to take a look.

    Anyone else had this problem?

Wow, love that prototype gun. Wish we were getting a white gun!

That stickered Magnus looks impressive. I personally tend to prefer my figures without stickers, I was never good at putting those on, and I tend to favor a more simple look.
