I expect Brawl would be completely new. Rook really doesn't work, even with an extensive remold.

 

With regards to the problems with these photos, I'd like to repeat what I said here:

 

Onslaught's pretty dead on for the mould. It has his alt mode and the robot mode's silhouette is basically him.

Since the ladder will probably be replaced with a missile or gun or something, we can probably expect the chestplates that Defensor has to change.

 

Ooh yeah I remember my little hunt for a Cyclonus from the Battle at Cybertron pack without Hot Rod.

I managed to find one in the end so hopefully the same works out for you if you're still up for the Deluxe Version.

I own Silverbolt already and I really think remolding him into Cyclonus was pointless I mean hello Hasbro Darkwing would like a word with you.

Seriously, I couldn't care less about the 'official' photos when it comes to completion of the different modes - I just want to know what the final colors/ accessories turn out to be - everything else just has to wait until I (or a reviewer) have one in hand.

 

Yes, but notice the placement of Defensors head in other modes. I am aware guns could be jammed back there, but where will the Brutiskull be Brutiput? So far, my best guess is a box and a series of folding panels.

 

Bruts head would probably be at the back of the truck compared to defensors ladder based cranium.
Where defensors has to go down the front of the torso, through the crotch and up the back again before finally finding it's place I imagine that bruts would just fold straight back on a simple single hinge.
They could even put the guns on a rotation joint so they can be pointed up for Onslaughts solo mode where bruts head would be on onslaughts arse.

 

Are you suggesting a remold of Silverbolt into Darkwing? That's not a terribly bad idea...

I just looked at those picstures. I havent seen Hasbro mis-transform their own product like that in a very long time. What the frak??!!

 

I highly doubt Brawl will be completely new there has to be a reason why Hasbro made Rook i expect Brawl will be a recolor of Rook because a lot of the Combiner Wars has been recolors and retools it would be great if the Combaticons get all new original designs but they won't because the only thing Hasbro knows how to do is recolor and retool.

 

I share this sentiment, too. It scares me that I can see how Hot Spot could work for Onslaught.

I think Bruts' head will be on the same assembly as the turrets/guns, and when in torso mode the turrets extend back.

 

I already posted my idea earlier in the thread, but seeing how Hot Spot's ladder/platform becomes Defensor's chestplate and head I think Onslaught will utilise the same sort of "fold out and wrap around" transformation, but over Bruticus's shoulders (instead of how Hot Spot's ladder folds through Defensor's legs and up his back), allowing his cannons to end up on his back, with the Brutiskull as well as the chestplate being integrated into the cannon-platform.
So, yeah, a series of foldy panels, basically.

Is it just just me, or does Hot Spot's collector card have the GDO Inferno repaint on it, instead of the actual CW figure?
