Exciting to have more stuff around this scale. I would say he is WST rather than Legends...

The Legends toys Hasbro did are all roughly the same size and that means to me that Prime(the one pictured) and Megs don't fit in with the others such as Prowl, Hound, Jazz etc etc who i'm looking to build a collection around. Perceptor being smaller than the average Legend size means he doesn't quite fit.

Would be cool if they make two scales for WST and Legends.

You're talking about the new IDW Generation Bee and Prime? They are like commander scale aren't they, atleast the Prime one is?

I was referring to the G1 RTS(or whatever line they came under) Megs and Prime who are actually classified legends. I like all those G1 legends because they did allot of them, though i'd want to replace Prime and Megs as i'm saying and add more. Perceptor here is too small... I have the WST Dinobots and i know some people say they fit but for me they are a touch too small. Kabaya Ultra Magnus fits really well with the G1 legends in his bot mode(not too fussed about alt modes scale wise)....

He does look good! But I'm wondering if we can have better versions of G1 Optimus and G1 Megatron. I tried displaying the currents ones and they look 'fair'.

I know Hasbro/TakaraTomy can do better, especially after seeing the TFP Cyberverse figures. Other than Breakdown, I'm very impressed by them - the bot and alternate (with the excepction of Megatron's) modes are pretty good.

Very excited for this. Has Dr. Wu made full transforming figures before or just add-ons?

I got a new image, figured I'd share. A comparison with the (Legends size) Justitoys Dinorobot Commander:

I'd say Perceptor definitely comes in around WST size then... :)

Well they're not so much "Legends" class as much as they are just toy & tv show accurate (Sixshot, Dinobots, etc.). I honestly have to congratulate Justitoys for paying attention to those major details. In the G1 cartoon the Dinobots were bigger than everyone else and Justitoys decided to remain faithful to that aspect. And as far as Sixshot being so much bigger than the average sized wst, just look at the G1 Sixshot toy! That thing is huge! So since the original toy was bigger than most of the others Justitoys chose to remain faithful to the original G1 toy-accurate size.

Still in yet there's a very thin line as to which boundaries you have to stay in to be able to consider your figure "truly" wst sized. It can get a bit complicated. Just look how similar wst Blaster and wst Soundwave are in size. But as far as the original G1 toys go, Blaster is darn near double Soundwave's size! So actually that would mean that the Justitoy's wst Blaster figure is grossly "undersized". Then there's the Wonderfest Sixshot figure which is the exact same size as the original Takara WST figures but kind of clashes with my Justitoy's Sixshot figure..... You see, complicated! :0)

By the way, am I looking at the same pictures as everyone else??? Because that Perceptor figure is posed next to a legends class figure and he is much shorter, especially head-wise. Sure the cannon/lens does give him a bit more height in robot mode but still in yet that cigarette lighter seems to be towering over him!

Shame, perceptor (as with most wst) would be a welcome addition to my collection but Ninjahandz was talking about doing a wst perceptor so still hope but haven't heard from him in a while either...
