I REALLY hope it happens. But we know that Japan (Takara) has no concept of how important Blue Bluestreak is in the US. (we heard about this when Captured Prey and a few others were talking to distribution about MP-18b originally) He's a US anomaly created by sloppy US marketing and line changes.

At this point I think our chances of getting it as a US convention exclusive are just as good as a 5th use of the mold by Takara. Hasbro at least has to have some notion of the figures significance.

Yellow Sideswipe and Exhaust both came about because the molds had very limited use and Takara wanted to maximize use. So far the Bluestreak mold has been used 4 times, that's more than many of the MP molds have been reused.

The really sad irony would be if Bluestreak is one of the few that doesn't get a diaclone repaint.

I hope I'm proven wrong.

 

People keep saying that, but it hasn't happened yet. Not with ANY Bluestreak mold ever made.

 

There was BT-19 Bluestreak, but your point stands as there have been plenty of opportunities for a blue Streak, and they have been seldom taken.

BT-19 Bluestreak, even if it can rightly be called a "Blue Bluestreak" was not the Diaclone color scheme.

The opportunity has never been taken.

It doesn't really matter. People keep saying that the Diaclone color scheme is a no-brainer. If it were so, surely we'd have seen it by now.
