Prime's feet didn't fold in in truck mode, resulting in his feet sticking out. That probably could have hindered his ability to have a trailer.

I dig it. I'd pick it up depending on the price. I like to keep my legend figures on the cheap

Looking at the legs, I kind of see the point, it does make the alt mode look better, granted doing that kind of fix on a 10 dollar toy... In my day I bought a newly released G1 Prowl for that price. That's the way it was and we liked it!

My bad. I just realized the trailer is the alt mode for the Motormaster head.......

All jokes aside. This is a nice add-on set.

Please tone the motor head down. That being said. Keep it cheap to match the toy pricing. Done deal!

I'm sold. I love that they have toes now. If the redesign on the motor master head goes well, I may grab another Nemesis, and repaint Spinister into Vortex. But unless the trailer for Nemesis is seriously different I'll probably just get the Optimus set.

This mold is one of my favorite hasbro releases in a long time, so an upgrade to improve him sounds great to me. my only issue with the figure is the feet and since this fixes that, im goddamned gravy.

Im not liking that they want the chest to be full closed to house the matrix either, those pectoral windows need to be split imo, looks wrong otherwise.

wish the trailer did more, though. Its super g1 and while I dont dislike that (in fact I will very much so enjoy owning it), a side of me expects an idw looking trailer to do something a little different. No clue what though.

I think its pretty cool that Ark Studio are giving the legends figures some love. Yeah they aren't the best figures but with some improvements, such as these, they can become awesome little playsets for those who either want a downscaled version of larger transformers with various parts, or those who love to fiddle with tiny toys. I hope they release more sets like these.

*shrug* I just don't see the appeal of spending more on a figure who's chest can't sit right to begin with, only to have a trailer that does very little.

I also don't understand the epic fascination with every 3P company that they must create a trailer if there is an iteration of Prime/Pax without one. Like seriously, it's a trailer. It's not like it's armor, or anything that would help be more or less inconspicuous. It's also such a niche thing to do, where is the value other than to a handful of collectors with infinite disposable income? I know I'll get the usual 'must be valuable to someone/to each his own/stop complaining/not geewun/etc', but I could think of about 20 other projects that would be more useful. Saturation does not equal satisfaction. /gripe

Now, all that aside, I do value Ark studios working to create legends that work well with the Metroplex set. But if you're going to do it, just make an entire 86 movie cast to recreate the battle, not just Blurr.

I actually really like this... But if I were going to replace the legs I'd put time into a possible Powermaster design over the standard trailer. But I guess it could be next in line.

Depending on the price... I might just get this.

The Matrix is a really nice touch (haha, geddit?) but Motormaster seems utterly redundant if he has no Stunticons to combine with. Now if the upgrade included ports which allow combination with other Legion cars...

I got ahold of the guys at Ark Studio and asked them if they planned to make the other Stunticons and/or a Menasor combiner, and they said not at this time.

Looks like this will make OP scale well with Gen. Bomber Megs.

    Agreed.

Also agree with this. That legends Prime is a neat little figure...for his price point and size. Make him a $50+ figure that this is likely to be and suddenly he's not so nifty...and you get back to the first quote.

I like the new legs on optimus but nothing about the black deco version says motormaster to me and the new weapons/head they've made for it are so oversized he looks like a goofy sd character.

Still looking forward to Arks mini figures however, just wish they'd release one already. :lol

I'm all for Legends toys but not too fussed about this. Wish they would hurry up and release their eleventy billion other projects though.

too bad the leg replacement is required or I might've gotten this; I know the new legs are a little better but I like to keep my figure as is and just add on rather than have to alter it. But the trailer does look really nice.
The motormaster change looks quite terrible though but I'm sure somebody will love it
