Holy Crap, I love how it can do that sword pose.

I almost expect to hear Star Saber doing Satsuki Kiryuin's Humans in Pigs Clothing speech.

I imagine it'll be chromed at least, but metal might make it overly heavy; the hilt is already pretty huge. I'd be all for a metal blade if he's able to lift it, though.

I'm starting to fear what shipping 3 of these bad boys from AE is going to cost... Maybe it might be cheaper to ship one from AE and two from a retailer that offers free shipping?

    What's AE?

I'd figure shipping three of these from anywhere without free shipping would be a lot.

I'm sort of surprised at the $170 price tag at BBTS.

Now here comes my noobish questions:

I have never bought in any of these sites. Wich one do you recommend?

Any thing I should know before buying a figure of this kind?

How can we know there will be some special edition like happened with Bumblebee?

    Thanks.

Dont worry, everyone has to start somewhere :)

Well between AmiAmi, RobotKingdom, Hobby Link Japan or Anime Export it’s just a matter of personal preference or which site has the better price for you. All of them get the job done; I haven’t had problems with any of them, but be aware that you could run into trouble if you get a faulty or broken figure. Not all of these retailers are cool with returns.

Another option that can matter to you is that RobotKingdom and Anime Export (?) charge upfront on pre-orders, HLJ and AmiAmi charge when the item is released.

The only thing that you should expect is that the figure most likely lands in customs when it arrives in your country and you have to pick it up and pay import taxes/fees. It doesn’t always happen, but you should calculate it.

What do you mean with "Special Edition"? Masterpieces don’t have special editions, they sometimes include bonus accessories on Amazon.jp and collector coins for the Asian market, but that’s it. Aside from re-releases of course which sometimes also have new accessories or other extras.

    You're welcome :)
