That's as good a price as we could possibly have hoped for! Same price as Ultra Magnus, even though Star Saber is bigger and with all the added functionality of a transforming core robot! Man, I'm gonna be refreshing amazon.jp pretty much daily until pre-orders pop up.

The alt mode looks FANTASTIC in colour, by the way. Love the dark blue.

Interesting that they decided to just make him part of the main line. Also, did I miss something? Who's MP-23? (Edit: I see. That's... uh... reeeeeeeeeaally random.)

I wasn’t sure about Star Saber but… for this price? Sold. Considering retailers like HLJ will also give you a good discount on pre-orders he’s even more wallet-friendly.

And it just looks like an awesome figure all together, with all his functions and of course the huge sword. I hope pre-orders go up soon.

I have seen Victory, and just like Masterforce before it, I wasn't that impressed.

Starsaber doesn't push any of my nostalgia buttons.

Starsaber isn't a character I care about in any way.

But MP Starsaber looks effing awesome.

seriously though, go check out the fiction, its very Japanese but its a good show with a lot of depth. Ive never made it through more than a few episodes, but I love the summaries online.

I figured as much- but with the size of his fore-arms, it does offer little movement even extended. I'll have to wait and see, but I'm definitely getting him.

Sure I'd seen some folks still concerned about it though.

I'm intrigued by the sword being a different colour/material in today's Twitter pic. Not getting my hopes up but a metal sword would really top this set off nicely.

 

That two-handed sword pose is beautiful and the price sounds about perfect.
Can we just skip over winter this year so we can get to Star Saber faster?
