I don't really care for the movies, but I can see that some of the designers are actually trying to go for ques that are discernable to the actual character they're designing. Whoever is in charge of choosing final designs (probably Bay) is an absolute moron. This looks way better than that generic shit they used for Lockdown, this at least SOMEWHAT looks like Lockdown whereas this shit in the movie.....doesn't.....at all. Definitely glad I'm not giving these assholes my money to see these monstrosities on screen they CLAIM to be Transformers.

I don't think a muscle car would've really fit his personality in the movie, so I'm still happy they went with the lambo

I love Lockdown, but this insect that is wearing Lockdown's clothes does not come close to the movie model. AOE Lockdown is the best Transformer character that Bay has brought us... and I detest his style. Whoever the artist is that keeps trying make our transformers hideous monsters needs to stop. Good Day Sir.

That vehicle mode is badass! That would have been a car with some personality, not that stupid farari, or lambo, or whatever he currently is.
The robot mode looks like General Grievous though...not too thrilled with that.

Seriously? the insect design for Bayformers has been more generic than ever for 3 movies. The final design of Lockdown is probably one of the few designs that are closely identical to its previous incarnation and totally awesome.

It's still Transformers by the way.... Regardless of differences.

Dear Ken, chicken walking legs are so 2007. Thank you for being shot down on that design. Sincerely, everyone.

    His latest reveal... SPOILERS

    Hasbro Inc., Transformers 4

    Lockdown Keyframe "New Inventory"

I boarded in thumbnails a little sequence in which Ratchet sees Lockdown escaping in the near distance. Lockdown, (Playing Possum) as a beater muscle car, leads Ratchet through some ravines, baiting him into taking the path set with traps - long, iron spikes, when triggered, spring up. With no time to avoid impact, Ratchet transforms, but his high speed momentum impales him in a spike, leaving Lockdown time to grab a quick trophy, before moving on to his next target...

But, the point of the image and assignment was to show Lockdown's character trait, taking a trophy from a defeated Ratchet.

I might have gotten a little ahead of myself, story-wise - the scene is still in the movie, though completely different.

Don't forget - come see me this weekend, at
Capital City Comic Con 2014 July 11-13, table T122!

From this, IMO I think the scene given to us was more emotional. BUT Lockdown should have totally wore his buzzsaw. Just to make Optimus angry when he sees it.

I wish we saw Lockdown in his ROTF toy body before he scanned his current alt mode

That would have been cool to see him with that car-mode.

It's real bummer to me that that robot design gets so much hate. I don't think it's good for Lockdown, but there are parts of it I like more then what was in the movie. Like the chest design. You can actually see car parts in the chest.
