I love the idea of Grimlock always being the leader of the Dinobots, with a revolving door for the team, as members get recruited or leave the team.

Maybe more than that...I like the idea of Decepticon Dinobots.

As far as Dinobots go, I want the IDW designs in.Though I absolutely would not object to FoC (at Hasbro prices, anyway, Planet X is out of my price range unless I stop buying masterpiece, and with Wheeljack and Magnus around the corner, that aint happening) the bodies they've had since Spotlight: Shockwave
are just so much more characterful, in flesh or metal. Id also like them in G2 colors, because Grimlock looks badass in blue and I like my subgroups with some color diversity.

 

A: I like shiny chrome and my TM Beast Wars are still fine, but my case may be rare. Feel free to disagree guys.

I think chrome is good when done well. The small chromed bits on masterpieces and the colored chrome on well maintained transmetals are great. that Grimlock is just trying to distract you from his flaws with shiny stuff and in the process creating more flaws

 

I was speaking in general. I have no opinion on that Grimlock.

Yeah that's how I see it too. I really liked it on ones like Transmetal Cheetor, Blackarachnia & Depthcharge, and going back further I think G1 toys used it well, but when it comes to some of the newer figures using it the way they are, it just turns me off.

 

Glad to hear you guys mention the need for a Cyberverse Rod Pod. Hell, a Kreo set would rock too.

Really, the Lost Light is perfect for a playset. They need to make it somehow.

 

"The fans like chrome." Really? I donno...I've never heard of chrome being a thing fans have been clamouring for.
Anyway at least Leader Prime's chrome is coloured appropriately. Grimlock's is just a giant slab of silver chrome. It looks unfinished.

Actually, Bumblebee did use a cane in his camaro body; because when he was shot, by the one human with the Megatron gun, they didn't have enough parts to repair him completely. And it was when he was in his War for Cybertron body that he didn't need it anymore, but used it anyway.
