Whelp I'm here to share my sad story of frustration in hopes that it might help someone else or to warn anyone trying to use a specific online retailer.

Back in March, I found an online retailer seemingly selling the jungle set (Japanworld.it, the link has been taken down now.). I say seemingly because the pictures of the jungle set were shown, the listing was for the jungle set, and the jungle set was listed as instock. I tried to do my home work, looked at the reviews for this e-seller, checked them out on facebook, and they seemed legitimate. AND doing the entire transaction through paypal brought me some comfort. So I paid for two, paid through paypal, and made multiple copies of the invoices that I received from their payment system. I asked for tracking via a personal email address that had been provided, and was only told it had been shipped and no tracking was given through paypal or from the seller.

Sooooo, two weeks later when this showed up at the post office from Italy...

I was kinda excited.

And lo. To my utter suspicion and great disappointment I had been sent two copies of the marine set. I double checked every invoice I had, all which said "Jungle Set", and then set about opening a case through paypal, my biggest beef being, that I had paid far more for a set that was not worth it for a set that I could have easily obtained here in the US.

I would be singing this retailers praises, if when I contacted him, he would have said "This happened by mistake, let me make this right." However this was not the case. It quickly became apparent in trying to communicate about the wrong product being sent to me, this person knew little to no englishe and despite my trying to communicate in italian using google translate, there was no attempt to get me the correct product. I was just asked to return it for a refund. So four weeks later, I am finally awarded my money back, only out the money I was required to pay for return shipping.

Maybe someone else has had a better experience with this retailer, (and if you're out there I would love to hear a happier tale) but I am here to tell you all if you choose this retailer, buy at your own risk.

 

I broke down and ordered three sets of the Marine armor. It would be SO SWELL if my remaining preorders for the desert set through BBTS were completed....

 

Bit late to reply but I've been to that shop. It's in Rome. He has an absolute ton of really cool stuff. And yes, his english is terrible. I bought a few things there but was nothing special about the prices and I did a bit of haggling to get what I thought were acceptable prices.

 

Finally got ahold of one of these. Very awesome indeed.

 

I'm not sure why everyone keeps saying that the huffer mold doesn't quite work with the mobine set. I found it to fit perfectly and allowed for the full range of movement. And it looks awesome when it is the black paint one.
I found that Darkstream was absolutely terrible. On its own it had tightness where it should have been loose, and was tight where it should have been more giving. The wings fell off very easily, the arms couldn't stay on when bent, and its connections could barely handle the mobine parts.
Theres my two cents.

While this is bumped(brought back from the grave) bbts never fulfilled my order of the jungle type. Anyone selling theirs?

 

yeah any of these sets would be nice, even chaos ones!

i know im raising the dead here, but it took me so long to find this set that by the time i got it i had redone my shelves and no longer had space for it XD its a great set though, i legit miss the time when third party companies came up with neat stuff like this instead of just doing existing stuff, but guess hes going either into storage or is getting listed.
