For those curious, the fan dub of zone can be found here, along with a lot of other dubs of the various Japanese series:

TFCog Transformers Fandubs & Media » Transformers Zone FV

As for the Countdown discussion, Seth your delivery was beautiful. What really put it over the top for me was Vangelus never saw it coming.

    Ebay:
Amazon.com: KS Luxury Tourbillion Moon Phase Automatic Mechanical Mens Leather Wrist Watch KS068: Watches Looks like the price bummped up a little from when I ordered it a feew weeks back but I still think it's very nice at less then $40. it's a little tricky to tell time on it because the hands aren't set center, they are posted high on the face but it has a really cool look to it. The texture on the face catches the light and makes these subtle wavy patters that sort of shimmer across it.

I'm like the Mandarin from Iron Man 3 that way.

Thanks! I've been looking for a good watch at a good price for a while now. This looks to be pretty much what I'm looking for. I actually just ordered.

    Keep sharing your watch news

I'm just listening to the dub while I work and Vangelus your performance is amazing. So much shouting.

Seth, Shockwave was stuck on Earth with the Dinobots for millions of years not ruling Cybertron, in the Marvel comics.

Add me to the list of appreciators of Seth's Final Countdown joke. That was pure genius, and Vangelus sounded like you hit him with a baseball bat. Well done, sir!

Also, that is a freakin' cool watch.

Y'know, maybe I have a weird complex, like Vangelus does when hearing certain abbreviations, but I really hate the word "Indy" as an abbreviation for independent. Frankly, I think the word Indy has taken on a somewhat pretentious quality in terms of film, music, and games.

I think using Indy that as the catch-all term for what the majority of the fandom calls "3rd Party" almost gives it too much credit. This is not to say that they aren't good (and often times amazing) toys or anything, and I don't have as much of an issue with the independent label on truly original things like Steelcore or Glacialord, but I feel whatever word used to describe figures clearly based on TF characters needs to indicate that they are not original concepts.

Thus, I'm a fan of using the word Unofficial when talking about such toys.

I rather like the word "independent" for them.

    So here's my weird angle.

I like "independent" a billion times more than "indy"

but I often end up crunching it down to "indy" due to mushmouth or tiredness or rushedness

so I have nobody to blame except myself.

Independent to me sounds like what it is. Independent toy designers/manufacturers/marketers/fans/etc getting something into our niche market.

On the other hand, Indy sounds like we're talking about cartoonified hipsters, possibly even the same ones trying to ruin beards for the real men of TFW2005. Not cool at all.

And I think independent is totally cool for complete original things. But you don't call a comic about Spider-Man not published by Marvel an independent comic. You call it fan-fiction, or an unofficial comic.

That Figma Indy looked pretty unofficial even if it was licensed.

    Sorry Seth. That face.

when put like that I find it hard to argue with.

what I really wonder is can something be considered independent if we know its being directly funded by a retailer?
