The new font still implements alot of little things from the same old Transformers font (the elongated T and F, gap in the A, the way the R connects), it's just cleaner and slimmer than the old one. Don't get your panties in a bunch people, sheesh.

It looks way more classic than the outdated A/E/C font, which is somehow still being used for the Collector's Club logo.

 

I actually think it looks pretty cool.

 

No, it isn't at all. The Rs and the Os are similar, and that's it. Just look at the A, N, S, and M. It's clearly not the same type of font if you look at the two.

 

No no I do not like that at all. I like the previous logos including the brown font in the superbowl spot

My point is that, no, it's not exactly the same, but for every element that's different there's an equal element that's copied over from the old font.
The new font feel fresh and different (exactly what they've been going for) but still harkens back to the old one.

I don't see why anyone would get worked up over this change. There are very little IPs that don't regularly change their fonts/logos, and although there's an iconic, original Transformers logo, that doesn't mean it has to be used all the time - and next to that, even Transformers has seen it's share of logo variations, modifications and reinventions.

I really don't mind that they changed it but i did like seing the title transform

 

Everything is going backwards getting more plain, boring, cheap & lame. Just be happy Transformers collectors don't have to put up with that 5POA BS that all the other lines are suffering from.

 

This has a Star Trek reveal vibe to it, which is fine for Trek. Leave my Transformers logo alone! Lol

(It's clear with the recent packaging change on the toys, this title was influenced by the New marketing/branding of Transformers. The title from the super bowl mirrored the previous three movies. This was clearly made prior to the packaging change. Not sure I like it, but it's just a title, I suppose.)

 

I cant believe people are actualy discussing about a 12 seconds intro with minor changes .

 

I dont really care either way, but I'm calling bogus on this. The other 3 films had Transforming title cards. There would be no reason for this one to be any different.

 

After seeing the previous 3 movie titles where the words transform I kinda wish they had stuck with that instead of the words or letters turning then disappearing.I want the words to transform dammit.

Looks good. The simpler the better. I'd actually be fine with an Indiana Jones-style plain-text fade.

 

Don't have any problem with it per se, but find it odd that it doesn't match the logo that's emblazoned on all the AOE merchandise on the sandy desert background. Kind of breaks brand consistency.

 

Didn't even know that there was a new trailer coming out today...how many hours from now is that?
