    That's interesting about the double tape.
    Haha that's good to hear that both AE and HLJ have great service. Can't wait to get the other MP's from them, and extra happy to save on the $ for future purchases on the other MP's :p

    Got my Smokescreen,it is double taped,it maybe because of the QC,double checkking again from the factory side.

    Sorry if this has been brought up/confirmed/debunked...

    About to go pick up one more to complete the trio - are there any KOs out there or do I have (pretty much) the peace of mind that what are out there so far are all genuine?

    AFAIK, there are no KOs of the datsuns yet. That being said, I would pick them up ASAP. If previous MP releases are any indication, we will unfortunately probably be getting datsun KOs in the near future.

    I don't have any of the Datsun moulds but I'm tempted by MP-18 Streak.

    Does he roll OK in alt mode? What's the best upgrade kt for him?

    Also, how does he compare with more recent Masterpieces (which I have) e.g. Wheeljack, Ironhide and Inferno?

    They roll fine. Not sure about upgrade kits, I prefer the stock toon based looks. The mold is on par with Wheeljack as far as detail and stability, being mine are nice and tight and well engineered.
