How disrespectful is this comment? If you don't like Bay cool, but this man is a well respected director in Hollywood. To bash him and call him lazy is stupid and absolutely blasphemous.

 

No more terrible then the horrible G1 movie. Nostalgia and fanboy bias aside, it's a terrible movie.

And Lody666 is right. Thanks to Michael Bay you have new toys, cartoons, comics, video games and even a theme park ride. and all you haters want to do is shout "robot Balls!" at the top of your lungs. Grow up.

Shit, I was thanking him in 2006 when I was buying TF's on their 22nd anniversary. Thought for sure they would never see 23.

One positive thing I can say about Michael Bay, is that he makes really great movie trailers. I enjoyed the trailers for all 3 of the previous movies more than the actual movies themselves. Looking forward to this trailer even though I know AOE will be more of the same.

 

It's Transformers not the Shawshank Redemption or Argo. "Shitty" has always been synonymous with Transformers even before Bay showed up. Oh, and way to avoid talking about the shitty quality of the G1 movie. Oh wait, you avoided it because you know it was shit and want to pretend like Michael Bay has ruined something wonderful.

And what's wrong with mentioning a theme park? You know Transformers, ALL OF TRANSFORMERS, is nothing but a glorified toy commercial, right?

You might have to get a limited intellect around the fact that even around here, some of us have a little more investment in the subject than " they're just toys......grow up" and a wafer thin attachment to a commercial.

Would have been happier if he did apologize for the first two films. DOTM was more bearable but it still sucked also.

 

They didn't go to LA, they went to "Mission City", so just imagine that it was close enough by the Hoover Dam to drive there really fast.

I take it you haven't been to Universal Studios and gotten on The Transformers ride then? If you did, you would feel, much in the same way that the franchise is more than "just some toy commercial", that its more than merely a theme park ride. Its an experience.

Outside of the attraction there's periodically suit performers dressed as Prime, Bee and Megs to take pictures with. There's a gift shop with all sorts of good stuff, from G1 to Bayformers. Hell theres even an Energon juice bar.

While you wait in line, Autobots and N.E.ST. are briefing you. There's cool Sector 7 paraphernalia everywhere. The whole atmosphere gets you jazzed up before you even ride the thing. Then the thing itself is just amazing. If you don't want to immediately ride it again you're kidding yourself.



And FYI, its not cool to make light of special needs people, even as an insult against a normal person.
