Cool. Short talk, but glad to know he'll be coming back. In a sea of limp and forgettable musical scores for hero movies, Jablonsky is a standout. His stuff is memorable, like composers of the past. Can you remember a few bars of the Man of Steel score? Me neither. But I remember countless themes from Transformers.

The score to both Kick Ass movies (Henry Jackman and others) was amazing. Jablonsky was good in the first movie (Scorponok is my favorite piece from the trilogy), but there was nothing particularly memorable in the other 2 movies imo.

Sentinel Prime theme was amazing. So was The World Needs You Now. In ROTF, Forest Battle was balls out amazing. I couldn't possibly disagree with you more.

This makes me happy. Arrival to Earth, Sentinel Prime, and Battle are three of my favorite movie score songs ever.

    TF1: 80 tracks
    TF2: 110 tracks
    TF3: 82 tracks

That's not even counting the alternate versions that ended up on promotional scores and the official cds.

    Sentinel is good, yeah.

I'm glad he's coming back for AoE, "Arrival to Earth", "Sentinel Prime", "Battle", "There is No Plan" and "It's Our Fight" are my favorites scores from the past three films.

    Hmm...

Jablonsky rocks. Love his work on The Island too... 'My name is Lincoln'/end is memorable. I agree about Kick Ass movie scores, cool and quirky. For Kick Ass 1, the most memorable piece is 'Sunshine in D minor' by John Murphy, originally from the Danny Boyle movie 'Sunshine' (a movie that wasn't well received by critics and folks in general, but I love it...never mind the physics :)  There are lots of great 'Film Music' out there, it's a shame that 'Source' music is always prioritized first (as SJ said, they have much broader appeal).

I liked his TF1 and TF3 scores thanks to each one holding several very memorable pieces, but I found is TF2 score a complete letdown. Either way, I'm glad he's back as expected for TF4... especially given that his scores are literally the best thing about these movies.

One of the biggest things I've come to look forward to is the scores Jablonsky creates for the TF films. It's a real treat to have him back and hopefully again in the future (TF5?, next series?)

I know most fans are really sick of Linkin Park, but I think their singles now are as much as part of the movie franchise as Jablonksy's themes, especially since certain chords of LP songs were integrated into the musical scores for RoTF & DoTM. I wonder if LP will collaborate again with Jablonky for this 4th film. I dont know if it was because of having to be cut, or bad writing, but the fact that Optimus Prime never got a proper ending monologue for DoTM never set well with me. I hope that AoE corrects this oversight.
