Question, if it's a wrap does that mean they still have to get the voices for the Transformers or They've got them and they officially finished the film?
So is it really over this time? Or will this be followed by several days worth of "oh look there's one of the cars I think wait not sure" or "Michael Bay seen filming .5 seconds worth of footage near a tea bush" non-news news posts?
It’s done. Unless there will be reshoots, we are on Post Production stage now. Transformers Live Action Movie Series is a huge part of the Transformers Franchise. In a way it is the driving force behind all things Transformers at Hasbro. So, each and every piece of news is equally important and fans love to hear about the movie. Page View count for Transformers movie related news is the clearest evidence for it. Trust me, even if Michael Bay filmed behind a tea bush, fans would love to know.
Arrgh. I'll be that guy... "Principal" not "principle." If Movie News is indeed driving the page counts, let's not use homophonic malapropisms on the front page.
I know bumblebee, Crosshairs, and the sonic are in Las Vegas now at the sema car show. The others probably are as well, but I haven't seen them in any pics. I know it's not news just figured if any of the fans live out there is a good oppurtunity to get pics of the cars
I am surprised that a Transformers fans board thinks the main fandom for Transformers Live action Movies is on a board such as this - I'd say that's somewhat improbable as the vast majority of people I see do no more than barely tolerate the live action movies some might be a bit more positive some a bit more negative but the overwhelming response from the Transformers fandom in my experience seems to be "Meaughh" or "Pfftttt" I think the main fandom for these movies lies not here but in the general audience - much like Comic book movie which is the Genre the Transformers movies essentially sit into - I suspect the Marvel comics fandom isn't the primary fandom for their movies either. (Though I guess they like them more than Transformers fans do theirs - Tomy Stark is likely a lot less offensive to peoples sensibilities than Sam Witwicky. I don't think Transformers fans like Transformer media much anyway there must be a lot more Transformers fans who didn't watch Transformers Prime or don't buy any comics than ones that do. I wouldn't be so bitchy as to say that Transformers Movies are a regular biannual annoyance that you have to put up with - I can't say I pay a great deal of attention to Mr. Bys doings; but I do find myself looking forward more to the Age of Extinction toyline than I do to the 2014 Generations releases simply as my tolerance levels are higher for the movie universe than they are for IDW. Comparing Movie Transformers is like comparing 80's Batman Movies to 70's or 80's Batman comics where as for me that is like comparing Transformers to Lost in Space (I.e nothing much to do with each other than both being Sci Fi). As for this Movie it looks like it might have Stunticons and Dinosaurs in it so that can either be seen as a potential Mr. Bay apology or another way for him to urinate of people's precious childhood memories depending on your outlook. Hopefully Dinosaurs is something even bay can't screw up - and cars not made by GM are always nice to have. My only real complaint is that Hound isn't called Bulkhead.
Post production time and reshoots - I'm glad we're finally there. It's been great finding out that the Dinobots are finally going to be in the films and I'm looking forward to the designs. The icing on the cake would be if the toys measure up to my expectation. I took my expectations down when that prime toy was revealed so shouldn't be too let down even by the deluxes.
Everyday I think about Grimlock. What he looks like in the movie, What he looks like as a toy, Who he is going to be voiced by. Just so hard to wait. Now that it's a wrap, I hope each day we will see something leaked.
