I love the new designs. There, I said it. I never thought I could love movie designs, but these have won me over. I can't wait to see the rest of the Dinobots now.

Judging from the feet and the CG this looks like it could be an aborted Transformers Prime-Era Optimus. That said, It doesn't look half bad, I like the Curvature of the panels on his Robot mode, The Skirt and the Shoulder Pipes are also nice additions. I like how the designer has integrated an Energy Bracer emitter into Prime's left forearm, Tells me this Prime is more into getting up close and personal with his foes rather than shooting them. (This one might take Faces rather than Obliterate them outright)

If this does end up being an early Image of Movie 4 Optimus, I won't be too disappointed, but I'd rather see this design be used in the next Transformers cartoon.

It is a Movie Optimus as the shape of his face and Bumblebee's matches the Halloween Costume designs exactly. There's no doubt - the odd thing is to ask why Make Bee spikey give him yet another car mode and remove the windows from Prime's chest. ( I have some theories) but I hope there's good in continuity explanations for both.

I think you are onto something, if you look in some of of the photos the rusty truck has flames on it,

I can still imagine Gregg Berger's voice coming from that Trex, G1 or Fall of Cybertron.

I'd be happy if he actually got any actual dialogue.

I've hoped for that ever since the first movie. I never expected Optimus to have a mouth. In fact, most of the Transformers in this franchise that had faceplates in their G1 form don't have them in their movie forms. The only one who doesn't have a faceplate in the G1 cartoon but has one in the movie is Bumblebee.

I hope they are still being tweaked. Optimus needs more red on him. Other than that, I have no problem with the new design.

I'll have to see him in action to be sure... but I may have a new favorite Optimus design.

I love this new Prime....but I can't see Bay giving him a fixed faceplate. His face and mouth are what makes him approachable to the humans, faceplate is for Con bustin time!

Optimus Prime seriously looks like a samurai.
Remember the G1 Decepticon Pretender Bludgeon that had a skull face that was the master of some cybertronian martial arts? Bluegeon had a body armor suit just like this new Optimus Prime.

It seems like AoE is doing a lot to integrate the movie style with elements of Beast Hunters. Namely BIG HONKIN SPIKES and over-the-top weapons.

im not really feelin it. if it was the real deal they would have scratches and battle damage. if it was for TF prime then yea i would believe it but im gonna stay skeptical and that grimlock, considering FOC and how the design language for the movies is, just dont jive with me
