It MAY just be me, but are those "Scales" imprinted on the old truck? (Sorry if someone noticed this before, I haven't been keeping up with the boards for a LONG time)

So this is POSSIBLE confermation that Ratchet dies than..huh/

 

Actully going with nother idea maybe the two are working on like patching up The other Wreckers and stuff, and then they get ambushed, try to run and than are KILLED in the process but while LEadfoot puts up a fight Ratchet tries to get to Optimus, but he is gunned down by the Dreads and/or the Rally fighters

 

I'm assuming he will have a hero's death of sorts.

 

Seeing as it looks like that bullet hole Ratchet is on the truck trailer with what looks to be the Dread SUV, there is a chance Ratchet was in a scene or 2 around the time we seen the Dread SUV with the Pagani and grey cab over. There was rumors that one of the two rally fighters may be lockdown. An that could still happen. But what if the Dread SUV is lockdown? And just maybe the 2 rally fighters are runamuck and runabout like in the early draft leak?

 

Pfft. If Lockdown is the Dread SUV I will be disappointed, greatly. Absolute waste.

However, I will love if Lockdown is the one to kill Ratchet.

 

Yeah I hope lockdown is the rally fighter with the skull on it   and I hope as well that he is the one to kill Ratchet.

 

If they do it right, I might even cry. Obviously Ratchet is shot at multiple times, has no back up, transforms, tries to run away, gets hunted down, most likely killed. Would most likely be the most meaningful death in the series.

 

Now I'm starting to visualise Ratchet as a poor old man getting gunned down. *sniffle*

If he does return and is set to die. I do wish they can put a lot of emotion into this.

 

I think they will be. Just my two cents.

 

I have a theory about the rusty truck and here me out guys: I think it might be Wreck-Gar! Flames aside, This is because of the, well, rust and the weird ambiguous looking symbol on his altmode side. This would make perfect sense considering the "Humans-making-Transformers" sub-plot. He could be an experiment the scientists (Stanley Tucci and What's-her-face) could have created using rouge Cybertronian technology. Tying him to his Animated version (somewhat) of being created on Earth.

...or it could be just Optimus Prime's 1st mode.

Yeah but the humans making TFs sub plot is actually just theory by many of the members here. We don't even know for sure the humans will make any of their own TFs. Maybe they re-build Megs or build a new weapon based on Cybertrian tech but I'm really starting to believe they will not just build a new TF.

 

It's looking more and more like Ratchet does die. In DOTM, they had 2 Ratchet trucks on set. One was a backup in case the first was damaged. Well, it looks like they indeed used them both this time lol. One they damaged a bit with some broken lights and a dent here and there in the push bar on the front of the truck. But that can be repaired easy after the movie so that vehicle can be auctioned off or donated to the TFs ride. But the second Ratchet truck (bullet holes) was really messed up and it probably a safe bet that this truck will not be so lucky to be fixed. May still be sold or auctioned off as is but the bullet hole truck looks to be a sacrificial truck for his death scene lol

 

It's cool to see the actual cars getting the shit kicked out of them now, Usually, they remained pristine, while the CGI bots got damaged.

 

lol ty, you know what. That sounds badass make him super huge like in the ps2 armarda game rising from the water and than cut to a human with an autobots gohome sign looking at him and than putting the sign down

 

IMO it's because he's only seen so much and then he's never with the other bots when there's filming going on. I would even go so far to say that ratchet has gone rogue, as well with a couple other autobots to survive on their own. I have to say, if ratchet
