I really like the way it turned out.

 

3 points of articulation in the neck, 3 in each wing, 2 in each foot, and 2 in the tail. The crest moves, and the beak opens wide. An EXTREMELY expressive toy. Painted BEAUTIFULLY. The most complex cassette ever made - I needed the instructions.

The true depth of the designer's genius, however, is that all the tape detailing is hidden underneath Swoop. The top side is entirely robot detailing. If you saw Swoop on a desk, you'd never know it was a tape.

Looks totally awesome. I've wanted to order one for about a month, but I can't tell if they're available or not. I've tried to email Eagle via the email addresses listed, but I haven't gotten a response.

I think his blog links to some available on taobao, but I have no idea what it's saying (even with google translate) and I've never ordered from them. Anyone have any idea how I can get one at the Eagle price of $25 including shipping?

Even moreso since you'd think there'd be more forgiving design aspects for a pterodactyl to robot as opposed to pterodactyle to tiny, tiny rectangle.
