    This was planned for a long time, it's no surprise, it's one of the 6 movie's he's contracted for. After Avengers 3 though, all the stars contracts are up.(except for Guardians and maybe Black widow,Hawkeye and Hulk(not sure about their contracts) So what happens next is up in the air. What Evans,Downy JR,and Helmsworth do after that is up in the air.

    Cap could go a Death of cap route and have a certain some one replace him.
    Thor 3 is ragnarock, so they could have he and the asguardians move to Oklahoma upon ressurection.
    Rodey could take over for Tony for awhile as Iron Man.

    Or they could just recast.

    Marvel has a multi year plan, so they could just focus on other characters for awhile as well. But well they are owned by Disney and Disney likes sequels.

    Ruffalo also signed a 6 pics deal (i dunno if his IM3 cameo counts as part of the deal, after all RDJ cameo in Hulk and Chris cameo in Thorr 2 werent part of their deals, only the Nick Fury cameos counted as part of Jackson deal)

    Marvelsaid their plan is the first film of each year be a sequel, then the second film be one of a new hero, so after Cap 3 we will have a new superheroe film in july

    I have no allegiance to the comic companies, but for as much as Batman - when done well/properly - is my overall favorite, there's just no denying Marvel's complete domination of the cinematic market when it comes to this subject. They have 3 separate and very successful film franchises (Spider-Man, X-Men, Avengers and ilk) that keep growing & expanding, whereas DC is already back to reboot mode with Batman and has a very unconvincing Superman reboot currently on the go. That's not even a remote competition.

    That said, I could not really care less. Just as long as they ALL make and/or keep making good movies, I'm fine. For me, Marvel is hitting on all cylinders with the 3 franchises mentioned above, and DC is... well... I love the Arkham video games. When THAT gets turned into a live action movie verse, call me. :)
