My favorite Joker origin is still the Paul Dini/Alex Ross one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=27hhPbYKNfo
Been binging on this show since it hit Netflix. Holy cow, this is probably the most interesting Cop Drama show I've ever seen. I love the crime families subplot. Is the guy that plays Zasz the same guy that played one of the meta humans on the Flash?
GOTHAM Will Reveal JOKER's Origin | Newsarama.com .....scared to see what they come up with. So we are going to get full Joker with no Batman to cause it?
"While the first season of Gotham showed several possible candidates to become Batman's future nemesis," No, no it did not. There was only Jerome.
Yeah, they originally wanted to give us other possible proto-jokers, but seems like they're moving forward with just Jerome now.
Probably just an easter egg. I know at one point there was the rumor that "every episode" was supposed to feature a possible future Joker. no idea how that even got started.
Yes he is, he filmed both roles the same time, which is why he's bold in both. I don't think Jerome is the Joker, I think he's just a red herring. I mean the show is really trying its hardest to make him out as the Joker to the point that we expect him to be the Joker. I believe they'll make him more and more Jokerish, just to then kill him off or develop into a different villain and reveal the actual Joker as someone else. Man I love this show, it's so good.
The show will probably have Jerome kidnap some mobster's kid Bruce's age, and the kid will start emulating him.
Is it me or did anyone else get a major Mark Hamil vibe off Jerome tonight. When he was the magician, I got a vibe of Hamil as the Trickster in the old Flash series. "HaHaHaHaHaHa... (Calmly) I think that went well..."
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zCjJM2oo3EU Give this guy an elongated false chin and paint him white and I think he'd make a good live action joker.
Yeah to be honest I kinda thought that might be the case. It was too early to introduce the real Joker - like, there's no way he could have stayed alive and at large untill Batman appears. But now they have a source of endless copycats, any one of which could one day become the Joker.
Great... just got spoiled on another website about tonight's episode. After reading about what happens and the ideology behind it, I don't think I'm going to bother with this show anymore.
