I couldn't find a thread specifically about this movie, so here we go. Between this and "Inside Out" I'm really glad to see Pixar working with some more original material.

From what I saw/heard it puts me in mind of MONSTERS INC meets ICE AGE. Which is not bad, just something seen before.

    But it does look charming.

Uh? The live action "Mario bros" film already showed us what would happen if dinos never went extinct. :p

I think this is somewhat a fresh idea on Pixar's part, what we desperately need.

But I'm sure this film will have all the charm as Up did.

Has Director Bob Peterson Been Removed from Pixar

Pixar has had some good movies come out of changing directors mid-production (Toy Story 2, Ratatouille) and some mixed results (Cars 2, Brave), If this is true I hope it's more like the former.

At least they might try to take their time on the it new movies. I haven't really loved their last few movies as much as I want to.

This looks very bad by Pixar standards.

I mean come on, that's the best they could make their dinosaur look?

Forget The Good Dinosaur, this is merely "The Croods Dinosaur".

looks a bit like it belongs in a world of dinosaurs similar to Toy Story's Rex. I wonder if the merchandise will look like extended members of that family.

They have a way of making dinosaurs look sorta dull and dopey. They took out all the folds and wrinkles and tried to soften the scaly reptilian look. It's a bit like a balloon animal now.

Looks way too goofy I think. The 2000 Disney film Dinosaur looks better than this.

Hopefully the Walking With Dinosaurs movie is pretty good.
