Well that's surprising. I was expecting Thanos for movie 2 and Ultron for 3 but they seem to be flipping that. By the way, isn't that the title of a comicbook that's out right now?
Jontron - Oh my gaaaaaaaaaawwwwwd! - YouTube Bit strange how this is Phase 2, and Ant-man won't phase 3. You know, cause of his origin and stuff, of course they could change it.
Cool. I guess Thanos will just be the villain in GotG then. I'll have to read-up on Ultron a bit before this movie comes out. Which means I'll have plenty of time to do so. Kinda surprised they would reveal the villain so...blatantly like that. Not a bad title, but nothing all that...cool sounding.
It's implied several times in interviews that Thanos is going to be Avengers 3. For some reason they're doing it in the reverse order many would have expected.
This is cool but I can just see the general masses being all "who the fuck is that that's not THANOS!" After barely discovering who the hell he is in the first Avengers lol.
I like the fact that they didn't cheese out and just call it The Avengers 2. So we should definitely see Henry Pym in this movie.
After recent trends of characters like the Mandarin, Shockwave, and Bane being advertised as the villain only to end up not being so, keep holding your breath. Ultron may just be a red herring like those three. Surely Whedon has quite a few good surprises up his sleeve if he's putting out the villain in the title. Same goes for the Winter Soldier. There's more to a story than it's title.
