That doesn't convey old grumpy Bats though. It seems like your dislike of the suit design is overriding the actual story significance it has.

 

So basically Minh't dislikes the suit purely because they like the Nw52 suit better, and rtaher than just admitting that's all there is, they're trying to somehow discredit the design of the TDKR suit.

There's nothing wrong with the suit, I get if you don't like it (even though I totally dig a comics-style live-action suit) but don't try and act like there's something wrong with it.

 

nolan's suit doesn't really fit reality either. considering it looks expensive. and i am pretty sure everyone in gotham already knows he's bruce wayne. if it was reality.

also, the DKR suit, looks WAY better then anything in the new 52. and this is coming from a guy who dislikes frank miller.

 

Capullo's art of New 52 Batman kicks ass, but TDKR is better, hell yeah. Only other comic suit I might have preferred is Jim Lee's costume from Hush.

i searched for Capullo's, as i do not read the new 52 comics. and i have to agree, his artwork does look pretty amazing. i don't think it is as good as Hush, though.

i prefer when batman has dark blue, over black. which is why i wasn't a big fan of the new adventures' animated series batman costume.

i like color.

 

The one shown off at the SDCC panel? I've only seen one copy of it, and it's too small and grainy to get a good look at. Could you link to the one you're talking about?

As for the display case, lighting was fine in the pics. It's very clearly black.

Gadot hasn't really bulked up at all though. I'd at least like a less skinny Wonder Woman.

 

My only gripe with the Wonder Woman costume is the colors.

 

Once the picture was brightened it didn't look any worse color wise than Supes.

Is Wonder Woman supposed to be muscular looking? I haven't read any of the comics but I've seen her in animated adaptations from time to time but I never noticed any bulk in her arms or something.

 

Three months later...

 

Well, since it was shown at comic-con, and we've all seen the leaked video (at various angles/quality) of the teaser, there's really no reason why "soon" shouldn't mean "soon".

She's usually slim and athletic, in most depictions. Alex Ross, and a few others, are the only ones to really make her look muscular.

 

I'm not expecting competitive body builder professional, but muscular build kinda goes with the whole "Amazonian" theme motif ...

 

I've always thought they should go with a tall "fitness model" type - toned but not 'roided out. And I've always thought the "tall" part of casting was more important than the "toned" part. Using Scarlett Johansson as an example, as much as I like her in the Black Widow role, and as well as I think she does in the part, I just can't take her seriously as a deadly spy when she comes in at a whopping 5'2".
