Unless Marvel got the movie rights for Fantastic Four back from 20th Century Fox, I don't think Disney will be involved.

Marvel only got the rights back to Blade, Punisher, Daredevil and the Galactus character, but Fox still has - and will continue to hold onto - the Fantastic Four & X-Men franchises with a death grip. Even the all powerful Disney doesn't have the money to scoop them up.

Best case scenarios we have right now is licensing deals for character crossovers which Marvel, Fox & Disney have all confirmed are being discussed if it can benefit each studio's respective properties. That's how & why we almost saw the new Oscorp tower in The Avengers - which was greenlit but just never got finished in time - and why there's heavy talk about several meet-ups, cameos, walk-bys, etc. involving various X-Men, Spider-Man, Avengers, Daredevil, etc. in the upcoming movies. Could literally be the unrivaled golden age of comic movies of our lifetime :)

Fox still own the rights to Galactus, the Disney getting back Galactus news was so Fox could extend the deadline of the Daredevil reboot, which never happened, Galactus is still with Fox

I remember David Tennant saying during an interview on the Nerdist Podcast that he really wanted to play Mr. Fantastic. This really, really needs to happen. Though I'd argue this movie really hinges around the way they write and cast Dr. Doom.

He'd be so good as Mr. Fantastic. I think Jason Issacs would make an awesome Dr. Doom.

If he was psychically capable and could do it:

    Jeremy Irons as Doctor Doom.

They would have to find a loop hole. The Fox, and Sony contracts were written at a time when marvel was bankrupt and the company that owned them was looking to sell. I believe they were even partially owned by Toybiz for a time. So the contracts were written in a way that the studios could keep the licenses as long as they made a new movie every 5 years or so. Or were at least in some form of production. Marvel was desperate for cash at the time and outside of Batman, there hadn't been many comic movies that did well. So there is little Disney can do if Sony and Fox don't want to give them up.

That Galactus is awesome. As much as I love Kirby's work, the look for Galactus was never something I liked. His helmet always made him look so corny in my opinion. That deviant art is incredible!

I actually liked the cast in the old movies. Michael Chiklus as the Thing was awesome. Ioan Grufford actually made a good Reed Richards. Jessica Alba was fucking hot as Sue. And Chris Evans was a decent Human Torch. Too bad he's Cap.

Sorry, but if Human Torch isn't the same race as his comic version I am not touching this movie with a 10 foot pole. I am ok with other casting with different race as comics like MDC as Kingpin and Billy Dee Williams as Harvey Dent, but this casting affects Sue Storm and therefore I am not in favor of it.

WTF? Human Torch is white so the actor should be white, unbelievable. Why do the morons in Hollywood have to be so freaking pc all the time? Actually, I know the answer to that but it's a whole different issue. It's bad enough that Jamie Foxx is Electro but now this?

They weren't a bad ensemble, I agree; Michael Chiklus was brilliant as the 'ever lovin' blue eyed, Thing' :)

Cast Gina Torres or Halle Berry as Susan Storm then; problem solved.

Because sometimes, a particular actor wants to do it; so in the face of predictable opposition they go for it anyway. Other times, the actor in question comes in and does an audition that blows the casting panel's socks off.

There's nothing inherently 'white' (if there is such a thing) about Johnny Storm as far as I'm familiar with the character.
