So as we know, Josh Whedon is going to be doing a tv show for S.H.I.E.L.D., so I thought I would give it it's own thread. Just wondering though, does anyone know the premiere date??
Well they have hired actors, but I don't think they have started filming yet. Until filming starts, they can't determine a date.
Fixed. I don't know about the date, but I sure as hell can't wait for this series. I am so psyched it's not even funny.
It's probably too much to ask that they include elements from Jonathan Hickman's batshit insane "Shield" series. It would be awesome to have a super-powered Michelangelo running around, though. As for more reasonable options, I think a lot of different heroes could make cameos, including Luke Cage, Moon Knight, Mockingbird (an opportunity for a Hawkeye appearance during sweeps) and, depending on the budget, Spider-Woman if Marvel still has the media rights for her.
I was really excited to hear about a live action Marvel TV show, but now I am even more excited because it is also the next Joss Whedon show. I don't think this one is going to get cancelled anytime soon either.
Part of me wants to be excited about this...I think. I'm just not all that interested in most of the regular S.H.I.E.LD. agents. Even less so in Colson's case...I would want to see the character Maria Hill in it, but only if it didn't affect Smulders working on How I Met Your Mother.
Marvel TV show. No Superheroes. Joss Whedon. My friend suggested a Heroes for Hire show which would have been 10 times better. Danny and Luke in a buddy cop kinda thing.
this will be pretty good, if they hadnt killed coulson, he could be the main character but maybe lesser heroes- Luke Cage, Hawkeye, Widow, or just Fury or maybe Maria as long as shes still Robin
so itll be before the movie? sweet, i heard he was just gonna be in the first episode in a flashback then be current
Only if they got Isiah Mustafa to play Cage. Also, I wonder if Neil McDonough will return as Dum Dum Dugan (Fury's #2 in the comics). I can only hope for Jimmy Woo, Clay Quartermain and Jasper Sitwell too.
Joss Whedon’s SHIELD Adds A “Deadly, Precise” New Agent | Bleeding Cool Comic Book, Movies and TV News and Rumors
As far as we know yes. However if this is post avengers what they could do is reveal that Phil is alive but show that hes in hospital or a shield medical unit. Then later on have him some how break out and reveal that hes turned into vision , Im not familar with comics so I dont know how it happens but that could be then a way to bring him back in avengers 2 as vision.
Yes they are making a Tv series with him as an agent again It was a rumor started on a fan site that gained a life of it's own. It got compounded when some one sculpted what it might look like for fun. Sometimes these things get out of hand as the rumor is posted as fact on some sites till it is debunked From the actor himself On the popular rumor that Coulson would return as the cybernetic Avenger The Vision, Gregg said: “Vision is cool, but I would hate to be any AI life form. If I got to come back, I would need to still be somebody who could wisecrack, because my favorite part of the job was that if anybody was going to tease anybody about their diva superhero outfit or whatever, it would be me.”
