Indeed, I still have absolutely no clue about how the overall plot will unfold.

Not sure where she was born but she was raised as a servant for Palpatine, so most likley Coruscant. Her birthdate is 17 BBY (BBY = Before Battle of Yavin) wich puts her a couple of years younger that Luke.

Here's a link to her full Bio:

Mara Jade Skywalker - Wookieepedia, the Star Wars Wiki - Wikia

Censorship in most films bewilders me TBH, especially here in the UK,

LOTR: Decapitation, disembowelment and caniballism = PG.

Spider-man: Green Goblin punches Spidey in the face = 12.

Fully expected this the be 12A here in the UK, at least I can take the kids.

I cant see that changing TBH, we might get a Disney header prior to the Lucasfilm one, apart from that It'll be buisness as usual.

Ok, while sitting around and thinking about the upcoming movie...I've avoided most commercials and chit-chat.

My THEORY on Ep 7, based on the trailers and the 2nd half of RotJ:

After the Battle of Endor, after the big "Yub-nub" Ewok celebration, when the victorious heroes went to bed, the Empire's reinforcements arrived, and slaughter most of the Rebel fleet.

In the "It's a Trap!" moment, along with the Executor, I counted just 33 Star Destroyers (using a YouTube clip), I doubt that's enough to hold an Empire together in check. Granted, if the original Expanded Universe is used, this is only Darth Vader's fleet.

I'm guessing, once the shield went down, *someone*, *anyone* on a receiving end of a Rebel bombardment, would have put out a call for reinforcements.

I doubt the small Rebel fleet of 10 (which included lightly armed transport ships and 2 Nebulon-B Frigates) would have been able to destroy ALL the Star Destroyers, so some may have left to join the incoming wave of ships.

So with the Emperor, Vader, and Admiral Piett gone, a few Star Destroyers blown away, there should still be enough of a military structure to be in somewhat control. Even if we assume there is only one Admiral in the entire Empire command structure, there's gotta be enough Captains flying around with their own fleets around the galaxy....even if it's a small fleet.

As for Luke, I wonder if the lightning damage from Palpatine aged his body more than usual, thus we haven't seen him. Sure we had that snapshot pic of him in Jedi getup, maybe that was a flashback to event(s) prior to The Force Awakens...or a holo-recording.

Anyways...there's my theory...and I'm off to avoid this thread a little longer.

    :p

Well it's been stated for a long time now, that the first order is an order built by stormtroopers, for storm troopers. It was only when Supreme Leader Snoke "slithered" in with Kylo as the voice for it.

    At least by JJ's info.

    1. If that was the case, the Battle of Jakku most likely doesn't happen.

    2. Even in the original cannon there are tons and tons of Star Destroyers and their variants. Since Vader was sent to prep for the Emperor's arrival, thats why his fleet, and thus his flagship, the SSD, Executor was at Endor, for the Emperor's pleasing.

    3. Possible, but it's also possible the Emperor issued a communications blackout for communication outside the fleet.

    4. SDs while large, were built more to "scare" than full scale combat. They were smaller than the Republic battle cruisers they were originally based on, and thus lost defense and armament capabilities. An ion shot large enough to the bridge can take it down, as seen in Empire.

    5. The Empire was huge. There was the Army, and Navy. Based on cannon numbers, there were over 1 trillion infantry soldiers, and billions of stormtroopers, acting as shock troops. The Navy was in essence in control of the shipyards and could still produce warships and tie fighters in high number due to no shields and low production cost.
The way the military was set up, military units located within certain sectors would still be controlled by the Moffs and Grand Moffs.

    6. Too many possibilities to even try to fathom. I'm thinking its a great marketing move.

Not regulation, but not that far off. Looks like some paint and the bottom front of a stormtrooper mask cut to shape. More than likely that was the crew chief, not the pilots. When your deployed to a war zone, certain things get overlooked. Hell my patrol, we wore skull face shields so you would only see our eyes.

Edit - Since the Medevac Blackhawk is the Spec Ops version, this is most likely from the 160th SOAR -ie Aviation Spec Ops - they can do pretty much anything they want.

Yeah, I was never convinced he was a Sith to begin with, and Boyaga's comment to Rolling Stone seems to confirm it. He said something along the lines of "he's a sort of Darth Vader fanboy with serious mental issues".
