    To put it bluntly.

This show is going to ruin our hobby even more then it has been.

^^^Just saw it today on The Travel Channel. It was fun to watch with my 7 year old.

Damn, I wish the boxes and boxes of my stuff weren't 3,000 miles away in my parents' attic in Hawaii...

(Just a small sample. I also have tons of vintage Star Wars toys as well.)

    Anyone else watching this show?

I miss the 1-2 Punch of Collection Intervention and Toy Hunter each week.

This is a pretty informative show. Glad to see it lasted longer then a few episodes.

I managed to catch today's episode. Anyone else notice they skipped over the Shogun Robot near the end when they were saying how much he could get for each item? Almost like they were afraid of showing how badly he ripped that guy off. $10? Really?

EDIT: There's already a thread for this apparently http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/movies-television/638149-toy-hunter.html

I'm watching it now, 20 for a Soundwave and lb?? I understand they are selling, but it makes it look like the toys aren't worth anything. The TF guy had a great collection though. The guy that had the jurrasic park Prototypes was insane.

    "Toy Hunter" on Travel channel

This show is an absolute joke, I cannot take it seriously. These exchanges, other than maybe the toys that appear at auction, have to be fake. There is no way in hell anyone with general knowledge of toy collecting would accept some of douchebag Jordan's lowball offers.
That assclown also said that autographed boxes (there was a batman toy MISB signed) devalues the box to collectors.
I can't stand the show, yet I DVR every week. I would love to know what my blood pressure is watching that show.

I've only seen the commercials, and can only cringe at how much people are gonna think their loose toys are worth. Just seeing a Bumper on the commercial means I can kiss ever finding one on the cheap goodbye

I love the show and DVR it as well but I don't take what the low ball offers serious or to heart. I know what things cost and I think everyone else does here as well. I know its for show but the low ball offers don't bother me as I just love seein the figures on their and thats about it.

It's a show, did you really think that he didn't know who Bumblejumper was? I won't be surprised if some of these toys were planted as well. What surprises me is that the other show, Collection Intervention, is a better show than Toy Hunter.

Yeah, I guess I watch to see what other people have as well.
Jordan seems like a tucker. His wife probably has him grab his ankles as she straps one on.

I watched one episode. He called darksaid darkseed over and over again on the superpowers collection episode. This guy is a toy expert and can't even say darksaids name right?

I don't know what's worse, this dude's voice, or the girl from Collection Intervention saying the words: "Breakdown robot".

It doesn't help to criticize if you can't spell Darkseid yourself, lol.

Heh, yeah, the constant "This is that toy and that toy is this" explanations get a little old for us, but they kinda gotta do it to make the show interesting...which is kinda hard to do when he's gushing over making such a measly profit over many of his buys. It's kinda funny seeing him gush over $300 profit.

My 7 year old and I love watching this show whenever we happen to catch it on TV.

BTW, I'm about to list my ultra-rare G1 Bumblebee (severe sticker wear, floppy limbs, missing three wheels) in the "For Sale" forum for $75...lowballers kiss my ass.

(And I believe there's already a thread for this topic.)

I watch it just to see the same old toys that I had when I was a kid.

I DVR it since it comes on during work. But I catch it every week. Dude loves to lowball, though.
