I hope he was able to sit down, since standing in something like that for hours on end non-stop has to be difficult!
It's too bad this is only one panel in a doujinshi. http://www.majhost.com/gallery/joshdaman/Banners/knife.png
Story of every Power Ranger series! ====== Here's another discussion point: Who'd love to have a live-size Jeager cockpit as an arcade game like the set used in the film? Problem is, you'll need two players to play it unless there's an option of Hard difficulty by going solo.
It would probably have to go though some heavily redesign because actors described being in that thins as a very unpleasant experience
The monsters with tentacles loved it the most. This is the best thing ever. Also, potential solution for Solo play, computer controls whichever half is dormant.
You know, considering that Del Toro did receive the PMMM movies from WB Japan, I have to wonder what his thoughts on it were if he ever did get around to watching them. Since he does seem to enjoy dark fairy tale stuff I have to wonder what his own interpretation of PMMM would be like. Also, it's probably coincidental but I've always thought that the gold container holding the elemental from Hellboy II and the soul gems from Madoka looked pretty similar to one another.
Gipsy Danger is powered by a soul gem, and should Mako give into despair, the Jaeger will be corrupted and end up transforming her into a Kaiju. No wonder Stacker was so reluctant to let her pilot one Oh wow, WB Japan gave him that? Awesome! A film for a film, I guess
Trawling through Youtube, found something really cool; Behind the Magic: "Pacific Rim" Hong Kong Battle - YouTube In the Hong Kong battle, they actually built a small set of the office building Gipsy punched through, complete with mechanism smashing through the tiny little office things.
I think Del Toro should make a blockbuster magical girl movie, I'm not saying it should be an adaptation of Madoka, I think it could be cool to see what he could do, considering what he did Pacific Rim with giant mechs and kaiju.
I think only a fraction of that video ended up on the Bluray. Why is there so much behind the scene stuff online of the movie, but not on the actual Bluray.
That would be the best thing ever next to a Pacific Rim sequel. And it needs to go all out, more like Speed Racer and less Dragonball Evolution. We need full on henshin sequences.
