    I think keeping Yondu was the right call because Michael Rooker is just so much fun to watch, and Yondu's arrow scene was just amazing. I also agree with Gunn's reasons for keeping Thanos in the movie. If you don't put him in the movie, you don't have as big of a connection to the overall Marvel universe. If Thanos was introduced later on when his story enters the forefront, we would all be asking "where has he been since The Avengers 1?"

    I finally got to watch this movie recently, in early 2015. I had wanted to watch it for a while.

    I found this movie very entertaining. It was fun to go to space and see this batch of characters and their transition to a group of travelling anti-heroes. All while it being funny at the same time. This movie is the one that has me interested in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, even though I am not sure if it will keep the kind of thing I like. It is the mythology introduced in the film and it proving that the continuity can provide fun.

    My only problem with the movie was Gamora. She seemed bland to me.

    As an extra note: I thought I recognized
    The Other
    but wasn't able to be sure.
    I realized it was The Other later on. A guy able to intimidate Loki and lurking through out The Avengers gets quickly disposed of by Ronan. Kind of amusing since I expected him to stick around longer.

    That would explain it. Wish we could've seen that scene with larger Groot dancing.

    When Batista sits a certain way there with the special effects not done you can tell he is wearing a shirt and it's not just hid body being painted
