A recently premiered show. ABC I think (not sure, since I watched it online and therefore don't really give a crap about where it originally aired. XD). I'm a sucker for fairy tales, or stories pertaining to the modernization of fairy tales. So this series is right up my alley. The premise is that, basically, the Evil Queen casts an evil spell on the fairy tale world that lands all the characters into modern times, walking among us. They don't know who they are, but as it goes on they figure out yada yada yada. Once Upon A Time - Full Episodes and Clips streaming online - Hulu Check it out. I like it well enough. The acting can be a little wonky and sometimes the writing strikes me as odd. But I'll follow it to see where it intends on going. Also, it's got a really good theme song.
Watching it on the dvr right now. Looks interesting so far. Its got Robert Carlyle from stargate universe and he's pretty cool. Have to post later how I liked it. After finishing it i can say it looks pretty interesting. Looking forward to seeing what they do with the story. Saw another Stargate Alum, Geppetto was Bra'tac from Sg-1.
Most of the characters are great so far. Mr Gold and the Queen are going to turn out to be great villians. I don't care for the prince charming guy or her son.
I saw it too, the only reason I checked it out is because it said it was from the writers of LOST I'm A Huge Lost fan so I thought I'd see if it was any good unfortunately I got spoiled from Lost I thought it was Alright the story it self is a good idea but some of the dialogue was bordering the line of being too cheesy it was only the first episode though so I'll give it a Chance for now
That's later this month too isn't it? Anyhow, forgot that Once Upon a Time was starting. I'll have to catch it some point to give my opinion on the show.
when i heard Fables production got stopped then they made this, i really didnt want to support this show. But from what i've seen so far (this ep), its not bad. but yeah, i wanna see Grimm more.
Not too bad. I do plan on watching more. The only thing I'm bummed about is that I can instantly guess who is actually who in the fairy tale world. I'd like a little more suspense with that in the future. (I guessed seven out of nine of the characters I've seen as regular people) jD001
I saw Spoiler Rumplestiltskin/Mr.Gold. One of the dwarves, (in the jail. He was asleep, and he was grumpy. So either Sleepy or Grumpy I'm guessing. XD) Jiminy Cricket. The evil queen, snow white, and the prince of course. Gepetto. And that's all who I remember seeing the in the real world.)
Spoiler Grumpy was in the cell, Red and granny were in the inn and the big bad wolf ran her off the road.(my guess) The Huntsman may be the sheriff.
Spoiler Not sure about the wolf... he doesn't look very big or bad. You may be right about Red and Granny... I remember the girl putting a scarf on. I think it was colored red...
Spoiler It was red. She and granny were the other people I was talking about. And yes it was Grumpy in jail, sleep didn't have much of a beard...or an attitude The wolf jumping out into the road, that was part of the whole 'bad things happen when people try to leave Storybrook' thing. Second episode is looking good though. jD001
I DVR'd it and watched the pilot ep last night, but I was a little underwhelmed with the episode, the hype had me expecting more, but I'll hang around for a couple more eps, don't like to give up without giving it a fair chance.. Liked the Snow White, Prince and Emma characters just fine.. Cracked me up when the Wicked Queen was doing the Twilight vampire walk down the hallway..her acting was a bit over the top, but suppose that's part of her "charm" Having Stargate Doc as Rumple was not much of a change for him as an actor.. (j/k)
Yeah I heard about this, it certainly sounds like they kind of ripped off Fables. When you look at the big picture though, ABC is owned by Disney, who also owns Marvel so hmm I'm surprised they didn't go to the CW.
Just started watching this right now, so hopefully I can catch the 1st half later on. Also, I just realized Meghan Ory's in this, so...
They better not pull some LOST crap and say that young Henry is actually the Queens dad. Spoiler And it's obvious that Mr. Gold is pulling all the strings and trapped the queen in the curse.
