God, I feel so bad for not remembering who Veran is...wasn't he a Gamera villain or am I mixing my Toho monsters? Also, I'd say they should've stuck with that original lineup, but that would've left the Millenium series without Ghidorah in a starring role...which is silly. Granted, I still feel GMK was a waste of the character, but at least he was in the movie.
Nah, Varan is a Toho monster. He starred in his own movie and later made a cameo appearance in Destroy All Monsters. Strangely, his monster design was my favourite of the "good guy monsters" when I was young.
Not in Final Wars he wouldn't. In Final Wars Godzilla walked through every monster in his way except for Kaiser Ghidorah.

I have pretty cool, but board games aren't my forte. I hope this writer does Godzilla justice without making it too cheesy or too serious. hell maybe a half and half.
Ugh...his track record is spotty at best. BLADE TRINITY as both writer and director...no part of that movie was good. But on the other side of the coin, he did the story for both Nolan Batman films. But on the OTHER side...he produced the awful GHOST RIDER movie... ...sh*t, on second glance at his IMDB page. He's only got 5 or so good movies on his track record. It ain't looking good for the big G

You now, my sister used to always give me a hard time when we were kids and I watched Godzilla movies, but for some reason she watched War of the Gargantuas with me –more than once. I was in my 30’s before I found out that this was actually a Frankenstein movie! Why is it so expensive? Is there a link somewhere with the contents? Goyer has some really good movies to his credit, but then he has some stinkers, too. I agree on Blade Trinity, but the first two Blade movies were great. However, he was also responsible for The Unborn which was unbelievably stupid and horrible. I’m most nervous about Gareth Edwards though. The only thing he’s done is Monsters, and while I appreciate the fact that it was made with no studio support it’s really a terrible movie. The concept was neat, but the characters, the narrative, and the monsters themselves were stupid.
Yeah, it's out there somewhere, I'm at work right now otherwise I'd retrieve it. But it appears to be worth the money... Basically, think HEROSCAPE only with Godzilla. Complete with building tiles, Monster figures, and apparently, upcoming booster sets.

Here's a video review of the game...kinda discouraging, not so sure I'll be getting it now. The combat seems kinda bullshit to me.
