    Just finished 3-6 loved every moment of it. The wait between episodes is to long.

    Any word on critical response to the series? How are they doing as movies? Are people accepting the new designs?

    I was hoping there was thread on this. I went through the first 22 episodes in about a week and enjoyed it immensely! Even with some of the changes from the original, this has been am impressive update! The music is awesome too!

    Also, there's a new preview for chapter 7 on youtube which I believe hits theaters in Japan today!

    Haven't been keeping up with the episodes since 11. What's up with this chapter 7? Is it a collection of the last episodes screened together as a theatrical release?

    ^Basically.

    From my understanding, they're airing these last 3 episodes on Japanese tv in October then releasing them as chapter 7 (episodes 23 - 26) on Blu-Ray.

    Ah, coo.

    Did they say anything about a season 2? I know I can't be the only one who would like to see the White Comet Empire story arc remade.

    From what we've seen so far,
    they've shown a White Comet Empire fleet being fended off by General Dormel's ships in one episode, and we also see Comet Empire prisoners running around during the prison break in another episode.

    Odds are we're getting a season two, and I can't wait to how the animation will look for that!. I think this new format of releasing episodes in theaters first, and then on Blu-ray and TV is working well for the show.
