I dunno about you, but the Baroness subplot from the first movie was one of the things I hated about it. Making her Duke's ex brainwashed into a Cobra operative? C'mon. Years of awesome GI Joe stories and they came out with that? I'm glad that she isn't there to remind anyone of the crappiness that was GI Joe: Rise of Cobra. Destro was only slightly bearable, but he really came out like a sniveling henchman than an awesome and respected warlord/weapons supplier.
I heard about this movie and I went "MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEH". ... Then I learned about Bruce Willis being on it. Yup, I'm going to watch it. On the midnight screening. On 3-D.
"On 3-D"? Is that what the kids are doing these days? New kind of drug? No more whippets? Goofballs? Wowee sauce with the boys? But seriously. Me too.
Are you insinuating that all of this is going on..during your "childhood"?? If so...I feel officially old.
You have done a great service to your Forum this day, may your name be remembered for your awesomeness. And now you know it, and knowing is half of the post, the other is reading or sumthin'.
LOL I guess I should have been more specific. I meant to say the brands. Never expected one of my favorite wrestlers to actually be involved in my favorite franchises. I'm 29 years old so I'm beginning to feel kind of old.
So who's Bruce supposed to be? He's gotta have a codename right? Trailer looks cool. Still hate Tatum's return and not Nichols'. Scarlet was one of the few bright spots from 1st movie. I am sorry to see her gone.
I'm in another sig? But seriously. I watched the trailer again...for the ninth time. And it only gets more awesome.

Judging from the trailer, it looks much better than Rise of Cobra. It looks like something from the cartoons and you can tell that the makers of this movie care about it a lot.
Well, Roadblock we kind of already know based on the adverts, and it appears that Dwayne will be doing his usual Dwayne schtick- which isn't a bad thing necessarily. He does, however, bear zero resemblence to the 80's Roadblock we all know and love, but I don't see that as a bad thing either. No rhyming, no rhyming, no rhyming...at least hopefully. Firefly- appropriately enough- seems a mystery. In fact, I hestitate only briefly in saying that I wish they hadn't shown his identify at all. Obviously you can see more of his face than say Snake Eyes (due to his balaclava head gear), but I don't know if I agree with seeing his whole face, just to make sure they show off that Ray Stevenson is in the movie. Much like my thoughts concerning Zartan in ROC, I wish they'd flown a little bit more beneath the radar with Firefly. Lady Jaye? Who can say. We know so little about her in the film, and what we know of her from the comics speaks less about her personality and more of the fact that she always wore that trademark baseball hat on her noggin. So, in other words, we'll see. God willing- come June of 2012- be prepped to eat those words!!
I just saw the first gi joe movie (its been a while since it isn't on hbo, cinemax or cable) everyone was complaining about snake eyes lips on his mask. forgive me but the lips are part of the mask. They move with his facial expression so isn't his face just painted black?
