In Thailand, it is an offence to construct a building in the shape of the Stig. Fortunately, this is a really stupid idea anyway, and no one has ever tried.

I watch the series all the time. It's hilarious and I love it, not to mention the cars are sexy as hell.

I find the 'Some say' bits hits and miss, most are hilarious, but a few just seem ridiculous. My favourite remains the end of one of his intros (I forget the beginning) 'and that he once punched a horse to the ground'. I find that epically hilarious for no reason I can properly articulate...

Best show on TV, and yeah, Mays TV efforts are better than Hammonds. James Mays Toy Stories are definitely worth picking up on DVD if you can find it.

And really, being a Top Gear presenter must be the greatest job in thr world.

Anyone notice in last nights episodes, during the Norway bit, that they played three little bits of the Jablonsky score from the 07 movie? I believe it was (in order) 'Arrival to Earth', 'No Sacrifice No Victory' and 'Scorponok'. Only a few seconds of each but it was good to hear!

Besides, it made a nice chnage from all the Dark Knight stuff they seem to recycle each week :p

They used a track from the Iron Man soundtrack last week.
I think it was 'Driving with the top down', not sure though.

Yeah, the BBC routinely use movie OSTs for their shows, Strictly uses The Dark Knight a lot.

I've noticed a distinct PC backlash against the boys ever since the 'Mexican' incident. Last week or so I heard that 'James May is a posh prima donna! He refused to sit in economy on a flight and delayed the whole plane!'

So I did a little digging, and actually he'd booked Business class with British Airways, and they had a cock up with their flights. So they had to shoehorn in people from one flight into another, and tried to get him into economy, without any refund or rebate.

I'd kick up a stink too. Go May!

Anyone watch last night? I loved it when as a test of the used convertible's tops they filled the cars with Helium. About fell on the floor over May's reaction! (they didn't tell him which gas was used, just to hold his breath and get out when he took a breath) Of course, Hammond and Clarkson knew and were laughing it up at May.

Some say that his heart ticks like a watch, and that he’s confused by stairs... all we know is...he's called The Stig!

I thought last Sunday's was a bit weak for a series ender. Maybe they should've shown the Mafia one last and left James May seemingly dead until next series.

I have to agree. For a series finale it was just overshadowed by the rest of the series.
Still, could be worse, they could have saved Jonathan Ross for the last episode.

Well, its not really the end of the series is it, we're getting 6 more in a few months, June or July did he say? We still need to see whatever that big red thing was was that Hammond was driving through walls.
