Just finished watching the first episode of Beautiful Bones: Sakurako's Investigation - I don't know what to say. It started out pretty bland with the character introductions and everything, but it picked up later in the episode. Great visuals though.

Rewatched Kill La Kill on adult swim. The english dub was pretty good. I think Erica Mendez did a good job as Matoi. Also watching Shimoneta: A boring world were the concept of dirty jokes does't exist. Longest title ever but freaking amazing anime

I finished watching the first Hellsing show.

It was pretty meh in my Case, like the fact it was loosely based after the Manga. Plus the music came from a pretty bad 1970s cartoon. That being said, the voice acting for this show was the saving grace for this & Isaac C. Singleton Jr rocked as Incognito.

Stick to Ultimate while you can.

Nah. He's dead-on. I know business is the reason for the change but Liam was perfect as archer.(This change was almost as bad as the Bleach Kenpachi switch)

Gags, funny stuff. What did I do wrong?

Alright, that makes sense. The fact that Sentai doesn't put much effort into dubbing doesn't help either.

so I've finished the second season of Higurashi When they Cry...wow this show really was something, something amazing. I came into this show thinking it was just a edgy gorefest but it was a lot more deeper and compelling than I could have imagined.

Man Takano...I don't what to think of her. She's
our main villain and I can't help but pity her. Having a rather tragic childhood and upbringing, between loosing her parents, being abused at the orphanage and then being desperate to help prove the theory of the one person who gave her any compassion, it drives her off the edge. But does it forgive everything she's done....the answer not entirely. She ends up getting off pretty easy all things considered even if she didn't kill anyone (aside from Rika's parents).
I did really enjoy Miki Ito's performance especially with Takano's breakdown at the end. That was some very incredible acting.

Then there's Hanyuu and she was just adorable for a god. I don't have much to say other than she was just so cute.
Though why didn't anyone question her horns.

also it was cool to finally find out
what happened to Satoshi. Though we'll probably never see him recover.
    :/

I thought it was interesting that our main heroes
never killed anyone in the final battle.
It really does show how far these characters have come since the first season.

    You might complain that
the ending was way too happy and convenient in the end but considering the nightmarish hell that Rika and the rest of the gang went through. they deserved their happy ending.

I'm so glad I watched this. Easily one of my new favourites i've seen in a while. Now all I have left is the OVA.

    Yokai Watch Dubbed Episode 4.

Okay I think I get what the problem is, they're using the same voice actor too much.
So far one guy has voiced three major characters in this episode and the last.
They just need a diverse cast.

As for this episode itself, it's alright.
Hungramps story tugs at the heart strings a bit, and Wazzat was a pretty good Yokai.

Kodansha Comics announces Attack on Titan Anthology

I know a lot of you assume/believe/hypothesize/know/think (whatever verb you want to use) Attack on Titan is overhyped but that's not the reason I'm sharing this. Look the names of the people involved.

Not digging Sakurako even though I was looking forward to it. Pretty generic Sherlock wannabe show. Will stick around for one more episode.

Not digging The Perfect Insider even though I was looking forward to it. Philosophical dialogue and a passive aggressive "notice me senpai" mc aren't terribly interesting. Will stick around for one more episode.

The 35th Test Platoon was really dumb but I liked it anyways. Will probably keep up with this.

Magical Somera-chan made me laugh 5 seconds in. This one's a keeper.

    Ninja Slayer From Animation
Ninja Slayer sits at that awkward spot between Inferno Cop and Kill la Kill, and that isn't a good place to be. While it shares the same tongue-in-cheek self-awareness those two did, it's not as funny and wacky as the former and it isn't as cool and kickass as the latter. It's funny for a while with a fairly compelling story, but it wears its welcome out long before it finishes. Music is pretty great.

The manga has awesome art and hopefully fleshes out and wraps up plotlines not done so in the anime. The book is pretty dry.

Hope you get a quick recovery. Watching something for more than a couple hours puts my in a sleepy mood so I have to pace out the stuff I watch and make sure to take breaks :p

Oh, nothing. I personally don't like the humor, that's all.

Well finished Ore Monogatari and Wagnaria S3 a few minutes ago. Just finished and I already want more of both. Ore I originally brushed off because of the artwork, but having given it an actual shot, it is a really good romance. None of this I love you and then nothing happens for 12 episode nonsense like a lot of romances. It just slaps you in the face with comedy and does care how often it does. Wish they'd hurry up with more manga chapters so we can have a second season.

Wagnaria S3 isn't technically over since there is the 1 hour special, but finally seeing this show come to a rightful conclusion is both satisfying and saddening. Would love for a 4th season, but wouldn't want them to make another season for the sake of making another season. As is the pacing is just right(took 6 years or so but hey at least something happened in the end).

Oh dear, may you have a speedy recovery.

    That's... actually a thing? :lol

It was a perfectly functional investigation show that did aboslutely nothing to distinguish itself.
    Shame.

I'm not even sure if I find it funny, but it is hypnotic, couldn't drop it even if I wanted.

Tsun tsun dere tsun dere tsun tsun!

I liked Sakura Bones, as I just tend to gravitate towards those shows anyways. But I really want to know how Shouichi ended up in such partnership with her.

I don't mind shows that throw the viewer in with barely any intro/explanation, but when it's almost every single show I watch, WTF...Spend the 1st episode setting stuff up, then give 11-12 episodes of Storied Goodness!!

& thank ya for the Heals...I'm starting to get agitated because I can't do much.
