That sounds very interesting, I would love to see it become an anime.

Black Lagoon is a love letter to 80's action movies and Hong Kong crime dramas, sprinkled liberally with existential philosophizing over the nature of morality and society. If none of that interests you in the least, then it's probably not for you.

Got up to episode 15 of Gintama. I always hate watching these really long ass shows, only because getting started always feels like climbing a damn mountain. You know things will get much better but the start always suuuuuuuuuucks. Saying that I am enjoying the series a lot(well except that one exotic animal episode but ya know every show has it's lemons). Kind of need a break so decided to switch pace and watch Garo the Animation. Episode 8 nearly killed me I was laughing so much, but others I'm enjoying things so far.

Stuff like that does interest me, I'm just not interested in this iteration of it. You can like a genre without liking a specific movie/anime/book.

What episode did you watch up to? Also, dub or sub? This is important.

Dub. Episode 7. I do like Dutch though. He's so cool. Revy's constant cussing sounded forced to the point of dumb. Benny had some thoughtful insights and Rokuro, his constant turn abouts just felt too sudden.

If you saw episode 7 and didn't fall in love with the show by that point, then there's probably no hope for you. That episode really encompasses the highs of what the series can achieve, specificially the smartness of its writing and its depth of character, and it's the first time the Lagoon Company really starts to come together as a team, rather than having Rock as the tagalong, mostly dead weight.

Maybe the next three-part arc can save it from you, because that instead represents the heights of the series' balls-out sense of action (and loving embrace of the 80's).

If it helps, Gintama is mostly a bunch of independent tales that you can follow easily (though as the show goes on the story arcs get more extensive). Maybe use the wiki to select which episodes to watch.

Watched more Kokoro Connect and wow this is getting serious, they are avoiding each other now that is not a good recipe.
I moved onto something lighter so I am rewatching toaru Kagaku no Railgun and it still makes me happy.

I decided to watch Air and Angel Beats, need to buy more tissues.

So many people have probably already pirated it. I get Netflix's strategy and it's a good strategy but it's severely hampered by how anime is consumed overseas and how frequently it's pirated. I couldn't care less but at least I'll have something to watch.

Got my second Blu-Ray to Digimon Adventure Tri. Hooray, but video games and my personal hygiene are interrupting me.

Finished rewatching of Digimon Adventure Tri dubbed out of what's currently avaliable and man, there are some flubs and forced lines here and there. They don't kill it but they stick out so much.

Hibiki Joe was the only real homage to the original Gatchaman. I know Berg Katze is the same name but the character is completely different.

Catching up. Just finished my UC Gundam with V/Victory.

Now watching Macross: Delta. I didn't think I could be more disappointed after Frontier, but I'm on ep 15 of Delta and it's kinda meh.

This is the only song I really like:

I didn't find Delta that great but now I appreciate Frontier even more. That is one of the best songs, but you have only got to 15 so more are coming.

Is Clockwork Planet any good. I can not stop listening to the OP. That could be because I am a huge fripSide fan.

Has anybody finished a anime then instantly started reading the Light Novel because they want to see what happened after. I have done it for multiple shows already.

I like Walkure's songs, I tend to watch an episode, like the song so I put the episode on repeat...and repeat. I've only gotten up to episode 6 so far because of that.

Didn't watch Clockwork Planet, the first couple episodes were meh so I gave up on it.

And yes, LN/Manga the same, only if they're translated though, I can't read the pretty moon language as mightily as I try.
