Kamina is awesome though, also a Boota toy is a must
I also just started watching Gurren Lagann because I liked the mecha design. Good stuff so far.

Irresponsible Captain Tylor:

I'm onto the last two episodes, but this has honestly got to be one of the funniest anime I've had the pleasure of watching. Seems the further back I go, the more I enjoy the anime.

Next up on the list:

Space Adventure Cobra

Sasameki Koto

Bubblegum Crisis/Onegai Sensei (I can't decide which one to re-watch)

Well GT turned out to be rubbish (shouldn't be surprised) so I'm moving onto GaoGaiGar next. Hopefully that won't let me down.

Watched episode six of Gurren Lagann and it's really weird that there are two versions of it. The original which clearly shows Kamina wanting to pretty much fuck anything that moves and Simon getting a finger up his ass (yes, I was suprised too) while the other version clearly omits all this and intersplices flashbacks to previous goings on instead of showing the nakedness.

Now i'm guessing one is for the Japanese audience while the other is for the west, yet both versions have English and Japanese dubs. All I can think of is one versrion was aired during the day and the other late at night.

For a mecha comedy parody what ever the hell it is, the strange is well and truly off the scale.

The clip one is a censored version, while the other is the director's cut. I assume the clip show version is the one that aired on TV.

Gaogaigar won't let you down - it's an awesome show. Takes a couple of episodes to get going but it is incredible once it hits its stride. Keeps managing to raise the bar every story arc to ridiculously awesome levels.

Yeah the clip version aired on TV and the director's cut one was DVD only.

Currently I'm watching the new Super Robot Wars show - the only show to get me cheering out loud at some of the characters showing up complete with their signature musical cues. Such as Sanger in the latest episode.
